Senior Has Early Graduation Ceremony In Hospital Days Before Mom Dies

It was monumental milestone for Dakota Keenan, graduating from high school with top honors and a 4.0 GPA. But in all the celebration, all he wanted was his dying mother to witness the moment. Colleen Waddell, a chef, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2009. At one point she was cancer free, but then got sicker. Dakota's graduation wasn't for a few weeks, so teachers at his school in Mississippi decided to bump up diploma day so his mom could be there. #InsideEdition

Sad to see somebody go so young. My mon just died.She was still worked full time up till she turned 74 and hurt her foot at work just after her 74th birthday. 2 months later she died. She had a cardiac arrest. I called 911 while I held her.They got there in seconds but couldn't save her. That still seems to young to me.
