Anthony, I commented a while back about a bar in NLV called Winchels, I worked there as a bartender for several years and my life long best friend Rob ran it. He now runs Scoundrels!! I bet you have met him, big guy with grey hair! I’m a big fan of you and LVA for the last 25 years now. You were the reason I moved to Vegas in 2001 and lived there for 17 years. I will be back out in Vegas for most of June, love to see ya guys out at Scoundrels for a drink hopefully.

@@anthonycurtis4075Sorry for the confusion Anthony, my bad. Rob and I both worked for Ron at Winchell’s, Rob for about 15 years as the GM. Five months ago Rob joined the Scoundrels family at their new location as the GM. I only commented about Winchell’s because you guys talked about Winchell’s in one of your videos a couple months back and thought it was a coincidence. Winchell’s is not affiliated with Scoundrels. Rob was very thankful for the shoutout and shared a clip of you guys on their FB page !!

I don't get the logic that because management sucks at running a casino (literally money printing operations) therefore the employees should work for substandard wage and benefits. How is it entitled to ask that your wage keeps up with the cost of living and inflation in the Las Vegs Valley? How about Virgin bargains in good faith (the lack of which is the cause of most strikes anyways), gives a fair contract AND does better on the business side. Its almost like Vegas has had like its two best years ever on the revenue side or something like that.

I think Virgin likes to fashion themselves as Euro posh which also may not exactly jibe with the locals. That would be good if they bring back a new and improved center bar and also improve the casino games at the very least. 👍

Royal flushes are streaky as heck. I played 2 1/2 years gambling about once a month in Vegas without hitting any royals. I then hit a royal flush on back to back trips it makes zero sense but that's why it's fun.
Memorial day
I used to live in New England, and I can tell you that the Mohegan Sun in CT also isn't a great casino. Locals all know that Foxwoods has the better machines and is more gambler friendly. Mohegan was never good with comps and promotions. Catering to locals is against their religion.
That's the way they played it. That won't cut it here.
Easy way to remember is May and Memorial Day both start with M.. Cheers.

Video poker and blackjack are beatable games. Craps is not, except under special circumstances. Yes, this will be a good follow-up question and I'll elaborate on the show.

When the progressive gets high enough that the game is now 100+ percent return, should one stick with the basic strategy, OR switch to a more aggressive plan to hit the royal? a 'bad' royal win, LOL..........that's funny..but not really.. I can think of only ONE situation when I hit a 'royal flush' in video poker and it truly was a BAD Royal and paid nada-zip nothing.... in a Video Poker tournament. *Similar like the ones the DownTown Grand used to have.........this was Many years ago at the Avi in Laughlin where they used to have weekly tournaments.........and there were qualifying rounds then the final rounds for the Prize Monies......... So I hit a Royal in the Qualifying rounds to get me to the finals........and in the Finals - I think there were 12-14 players, but only top 4 places paid, and sure enough, i didn't make the top 4 for any prize money. *But at least I got to play two rounds for my buy-in............LOL only time i've Ever gotten a Royal Flush in Video Poker and did not win anything .......Martin.
