    Worked great as far as I could tell. The 2 Tan ones have markings like Mangaless pigs like Jess and Miah from Roots and Refuge have. Cute bunch of Bacon, Porch Chops and Hams running around there lol. Peace from Mineral County WV

    I expected Troy to start yelling PIVOT! PIVOT!! ( like the Friends episode) at the top of his lungs when they were shifting the wooden panels.

    I think of piglet and the 100 acre wood. Love your vids. reminds me of my gpa having a sawmill and milling wood for hog raising in Idaho.

    Good job, those piglets are getting so big. They will learn the fence in no time. Is the red piglet with lots of vivid racing stripes a gilt? I'd be tempted to keep her as a breeding sow.

    Will the mamas test fence when teats full and babies crying to feed?

      I would like to know that too? Also would like to see a video of how the piglets do with fence when desperate to nurse. When they see mom they must try a lot. I'm sorry this sounds bad but so curious.

    I watch most all of your videos and it seems to me that you always have a mess to clean up where ever you want to complete another project ? You should do better at keeping the property organized, maybe have it be a job that your sons are scheduled to complete weekly? Question, why do you always seem to do things !

    • @RedToolHouse
      @RedToolHouse  Před 3 lety

      Probably the best answer to you question is that after 20 years I am still trying to find the best use of the land. The "junk" I moved for this project was steel I-beams which I am sure I will need at some point. They had to be move to our new construction supply storage pile. My boys do quite a bit of work off camera and prefer not to be videoed most of the time. The oldest is in college so his studies are first priority. I am also not fun to work with at times. I give them space so they want end up hating the farm. We will see how it works out...

    Is that legal to do is not animal cruelty

    • @RedToolHouse
      @RedToolHouse  Před 3 lety +8

      To allow them to roam free and be shot or struck by vehicles would be cruelty. After two weeks they know not to touch it again

    • @blackwaterfarms5893
      @blackwaterfarms5893 Před 3 lety +7

      If you're interested in animal cruelty, do some research into the big corporate pig farms. The method displayed here, and the essentially free-roaming (within these large paddocks) allow the pigs to be pigs, as nature intends. Cheers to this family for doing it right!

      @robwestley7370 Před 3 lety

      @@ubetchya78 Sandra Westley no, I think it’s you that’s wrong with this world, people that have no idea how to train animals to keep them safe they have no thoughts on what right or wrong you have to be the grown up and teach them. Justin Rhodes has electric fence around his cows his sheep and his pigs, if you let them roam off any where they will get killed
