The "chippy" paint is very interesting. I have doors that are around 100 years old and they have that look naturally where it went from natural wood to green then a sort of dark beige on top. I was going to sand them to put as a "French door" entrance from the dining room to the living room. I'm hanging them on rails for that "barn door" look. After watching your video, I am appreciative of the layers of history and I'm going to hang them just as they are. Thank you

Im very much into all kinds of creative ideas, and you make all you do look so easy.
My main interest, is model making, and yes, so moch of what you do is also used as a process in aging and distressing a model, but your technique makes the process a lot easier and a lot less time consuming than how we model makers do it. Both fraternities could learn a lot from our processes, and i for one will be trying out many of your tips and ideas in up coming projects.I cannot wait to try make a real sign for my sisters she shed.. something for her home art studio.
