【Synopsis】Former professional snooker genius Lin Yiyang met the popular nine-ball player Yin Guo on a rare snowstorm night. With the help of Yin Guo's cousin, they got to know each other. Lin Yiyang was once a famous snooker genius, in a match he unintentionally offended the judge due to the objection of penalty. He was unsatisfied with the judgment and announced his retirement directly. As a result, he quit the professional snooker. Yin Guo's appearance changed his life, he fell love in with Yin Guo. With Yin Guo’s help, Lin Yiyang returned to the snooker court. Finally, they made great achievements in the career and contributed to the professional billiards. For those offering criticism on the actor's inability to protray the character well. The ML character summed up himself when he explains the missing compass neddle. With the lack of purposeful direction anyone would behave as the male actor is beautifully portraying. Both main leads are broken and need physical assurances to help heal. Touch is one of the most healing instruments in the world, hence the hugs and kisses. This drama is more than about intimacy and love. Its beyond fluffy love and cute girly shyness. Its showing how two people find victory over being victims of painful circumstances in their lives. And yes that sort of love is real. Love comes in different forms and is expressed in ways for different couples. I appreciate the ML acting. To me its on point.
I agree with you 100%! In fact, I think it's more realistic than most shows. You can see both characters have a strong connection that sometimes goes beyond words that only they understand. You can see it in how they look at each other. Great explanation of ML and FL!

Doesn't have a proper story??? I never understood why people keep saying that. Story is exactly as described. Lin Yiyang is a super talented snooker/Billiard player who had a traumatic past event that has forced him to run away from fulfilling a lifelong dream and passion of his. He meets Yin Guo at the lowest point of his life, and the two fall in love. They are able to help lift each other up, and with her support, he's able to finally face his past and fulfill his dreams. It's a healing, heart-warming, and romantic story. I like how everything is depicted more normally(slice of life) rather than with crazy drama. Feels more realistic and relatable.

เอาแต่กอดจูบถี่มาก เหมือนตีความว่าเรื่องโรแมนติกจะต้องเห็นหน้ากันแล้วกอดจูบอย่างเดียวอะ ต้องมีทุกที่ 555555 และเรื่องโรแมนติกก็ไม่จำเป็นว่าต้องใส่แต่ฟิลเตอร์จนภาพเบลอหรอก เหมือนเอ็มวีอะ อุตส่าห์ไปถ่ายต่างประเทศ ภาพกลับไม่กว้างสวยมีมิติคมชัดเท่าที่ควร น่าเสียดาย ภาพชัดๆแบบเรื่องหวดรักดูมีคุณภาพกว่าเยอะ 🤣ชอบอู๋เหล่ยนะ แต่เรื่องนี้ขอวิจารณ์หน่อย ทำไมการเคลื่อนตัวของเหล่ย จะหันตัวจะทำอะไรเหมือนการสโลว์อยู่ตลอด หมายถึงหลายๆซีนที่เห็นตั้งแต่ตอนแรกๆแล้ว คนที่ขรึมนิ่ง ก็ไม่ได้หมายถึงว่าจะสโลว์ขนาดนี้นะ จะพูดจะอะไรก็ส่งสายตาเอื่อยๆอยู่ตลอดเวลา ตั้งใจใส่ความหวานความซอฟต์จนขาดความสมจริงไป ในหลายฉากๆที่มีคนอื่น ในขณะที่คนอื่นเล่นเป็นปกติตามธรรมชาติ เหล่ยจะดูแปลกแยกไปเลย ดูไม่ธรรมชาติที่สุด เป็นเรื่องแรกที่รู้สึกว่าเหล่ยเล่นไม่ดี....ถ้ากรรมการมาเห็นเรื่องนี้ก่อน รางวัลนักแสดงคุณภาพที่ได้ไปก่อนหน้า อาจจะต้องคิดอีกที😶

No one is saying that a love story is all about the hugs and kisses. It's that, in real life, there would be progression in intimacy between two lovers, so that part of the story has to be told too. Even if the story made no sense and the characters only stared at one another all drama long, you would still be able to feel the love and chemistry because Wu Lei and Jinmai do such a great job of expressing romantic feelings with their eyes, facial muscles, and mannerisms. Anyway, no, the love story isn't just about hugging and kissing. Those aren't even their most beautiful CP moments. It's truly about the two of them supporting, understanding, and helping each other overcome the obstacles in their lives, the traumas of their past, and pushing each other to fulfill dreams that were never realized. Also, you can criticize Wu Lei's slow, dramatic stares as unnatural but they are what is creating so much chemistry and feelings. Take away the ability to do that, aka put another actor in there, and the chemistry would diminish. Lin Yiyang would also fall flat as a character since he's such a stoic character who doesn't express himself much with anything other than his eyes and mannerisms. He's not someone who can properly express himself with words either due to troubled past events in his life. Wu Lei is truly doing a fantastic job in his role as Lin Yiyang, especially given that he's quite limited to how he is able to express himself.
