Ristar OST - Round 5-2 (Ice Scream) - Remastered

Coming in with quite a different musical video.
I like Ristar's Genesis OST quite a lot and especially the track, Ice Scream which I hold as one of my favorites. However though, one thing that's apparent throughout Ristar's OST is how rough the DAC samples sound because of how the game was programmed, besides the fact they are already heavily compressed and have distortion.
So why not instead utilize higher quality samples for the percussion of the tracks, and thankfully there have been some discoveries done by VGM Instrument Sources where they have found the sources of some percussion samples that Ristar used.

For this remaster of Ice Scream, the snare is from its original source that is thought to come from EMU-Procussion. The kick for this track hasn't been found yet but I overlayed the original sample with a similar sounding kick from the Korg NS5R, granted I probably could have touched up the original kick sample beforehand. As for the toms I overlayed the original samples with Power Toms from the Roland R8 and they sound very similar.
The remastered DAC percussion wavelength channel was produced with CorrScope.
If this video gets enough attention, I may do this for other Ristar tracks that prominently feature the snare used in this track, like the game's Title Screen theme.
