Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to make a DIY wall shelf from cardboard. This project is not only easy to do, but it's also a great way to repurpose old cardboard boxes and save some money. So, let's get started!
Materials you'll need:
- Cardboard box
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Peel and stick wooden design
- Glue or strong adhesive
Step 1: Cut the cardboard
First, you'll need to cut the cardboard into the shape of a shelf. You can use a template or freehand it, but make sure to keep the edges straight. Measure the dimensions of your wall space and cut the cardboard accordingly.
Step 2: Attach the pieces
Now, it's time to attach the pieces together. You can use glue or strong adhesive to secure the bottom and side pieces to the middle piece. Make sure to glue them well, especially at the corners.
Step 3: Sand the edges
If you want to smooth out the edges of your shelf, you can use sandpaper to sand the edges of the cardboard. This will make it easier to glue the pieces together.
Step 4: cover up
