Amy Jade Winehouse (born September 14, 1983) is an English singer-songwriter who was born September 14, 1983. She is well-known for her powerful deep contralto vocals and a wide range of musical styles. Her 2006 album, Back to Black, led to five Grammy Awards, tying the then-record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night.
She had a soul-like quality to her voice that drew inspiration from jazz and blues music. Her songs frequently had personal themes, and she was known for her honesty and openness.

The Amy Winehouse Foundation was set up by Winehouse's family and launched on 14 September 2011 (which would have been Winehouse's 28th birthday). Its aim is to help vulnerable or disadvantaged young people.

For some reason Amy Winehouse's career seems like it ended a long time ago, but she only passed in 2011. Her songs sound difficult to sing and the jazz influence is strong. The performance of "Back To Black" by Winehouse herself was great to hear. Thanks for the post.

I am sorry to say that something is wrong with the comments on your channel...I got notified and watched the whole stream starting about five minutes after upload. Because of the last missing comments of mine, I went to your homepage before watching and also after. This is now after 2hours and there are four comments (even though the header says 0) and 85 likes. When I finished all 33:08 there were 7 likes. Hope the comment button works this time...it is hard to reconstruct the immediate sense of how it played, so this last sentence is an edit after the comment printed this time. Sorry for the troubles.
It's becoming a common issue with YT. Sometimes, clearing your cache and cookies, then logging in again, will stabilize the platform. Other times, a comment that I post fails to appear when, minutes later, I return to the page . . . yet may reappear in another day or so! AIs and algorithms, on the whole, are not especially reliable.
Note, too, that uploads may reach subscribers at varying intervals, depending on how many servers across various countries are involved in the transmission.
@@ChollaRanch I appreciate your input on this issue...the problem may be mine, but all other posts recently have been trouble free. Since I am in S. California the usual server problems do happen, but rarely...
@@dhamma58 Since I subscribe to a number of channels and always read the comments, I see posts indicating that many, many others, worldwide, lately have the same or similar complaints. But at least some of the problems are caused by dilatory computer/device "housekeeping" tasks, e.g., defragging and optimizing one's hard drive, which should happen at regular intervals --- weekly for heavy users. It can make a big difference!
