Exploring an Active Volcano in Bandung, Indonesia 🇮🇩

- I drove with my motorcycle to Tangkuban Perahu in Lembang near Bandung in West Jawa, Indonesia. This volcano last time erupted in 2019. It is the only crater in Indonesia that you can drive up to its very rim. Mount Tangkuban Perahu has a distinctive shape, and looks like an 'overturned boat'. Here you will be greeted by sulfur fumes which the crater continues to emit although the volcano is not active.
The eruption of Tangkuban Perahu plays an important role for the development of the fertility of the mountains in the north of Bandung, especially the surrounding Parahyangan Highlands, when the its flow of lava carried large rocks into the valleys. These rocks formed the huge cliffs over which waterfalls leapt to form the lake that today covers the Bandung plain.

Belum pas diindo kena scam harga ntah makanan atau barang, karena gw sering liat di vlog" banyak banget penjual yg naikin harga seenaknya mentang" turis yg beli.
Intinya mah indo belum ramah ke turis asing & cuman sedikit doang bule yg visit ke indo buat liburan, ke indo pun paling ke bali 🗿
Bahkan negara tetangga kita Malaysia kunjungan turis thn 2022 aja 17jt, Thailan lebih ok sampe 26jt orang sedangkan turis yg ke indo thn 2022 cuman 5jt orang doang 😪

300k is for international tourist, 50k is for domestic tourist. When the staff watched ur SIM, they think u lived (as legal citizen) in Indonesia. Thats why they switched the price.
Beautiful nature and scenery, very spiritual feeling for many people I suppose.
The closest I’ve been to hot pools/springs was in Rotorua New Zealand.
I show no disrespect to Indonesians… My observation …only problem about people wanting to up-sell souvenirs, give massages, be a guide, be drivers etc to tourists is, that they don’t realise many tourists have only small amount of holiday savings to spend and not everyone is rich in our own countries and have to work hard and save a whole year to go on holiday because our cost of living is so expensive for us too, if some tourist prices were less more people would spend more money, we’re not all rich bule millionaires like people think, many people are poor and struggling and save very hard for holidays 😢😢

i know an alternate route to the crater without being ask for ticket, but should travel with MTB or with motor cross, mostly trails. Try to go to Kawah Upas, it's located behind Tangkuban Perahu crater.
You must to choose car mode for google navigation if don't you will be directed to an alley just like in your video, after choose car mode you need to set the route, uncheck the Tol and Ferry option, so the route will avoid Tol and Ferry and that will make google direct you to a street wich a car can fit.

congrats mr carlos u had been down to kawah domas ,,me as bandung people never had go down there but had 3 times to tangkuban parahu bcoz to go down u should rent a tour guide it cant by yourself its pricy i think to rent a tour guide down there noneless the sell souvenir that not cheap ,,i had an experience when i bring my italian friend and his filipino wife indeed it cost a lot to entry pass that time 200rb weekday ,,unless u had an indonesian id ,,the entry pass is same with domestic tourist ,,and the tour guide is so nicce as he is native people in there
It is 300k rupiah for foreign tourist, since you have local driving license, it’s assumed that you have Indonesian ID Card. That’s why they give you local price for 49k. 3% is credit card surcharge.

Hoffentlich können Sie bei Bromo vorbeischauen, wo es auch einen Krater gibt, und später herausfinden, wie schön Bromo in Ost-Java ist. Bromo ist auf der ganzen Welt bekannt und auch viele ausländische Touristen, die auf Bali leben, besuchen Bromo häufig.
