Background:
On the 16th of September 2022, Mahsa Amini, a 22 year old Iranian woman was murdered by Iran's Morality Police for wearing her hijab (head scarf) incorrectly. Her death sparked protests in Iran & around the world. Many people in Iran have been arrested, injured & murdered as a result of the uprising, but is hasn't deterred Iranian's from fighting for basic human rights for women in their country.
The singer in this video Saba Zamenii was arrested in Iran 2 years ago for being a female singer. She spent 3 months in prison. At the start of 2022, she was able to move to Canada (where it's legal for women to be singers), and she is adding her voice to the growing protest against the Islamic Regime.

as a musician in Iran, I feel pain more than anything when listening to this. the moral police took away my drums once when I was playing at a gig, and I never saw it again. I still don't have drums and I haven't played for months because I can't afford a drum kit in this economy. they do anything to stop musicians from making a living, nothing is too far for them.

Spanish citizen here living in Canada. This song deeply touched my heart. and so did many of the comments written here. I just want to contribute by saying that Iranians I've met have shown me the beautiful side of their culture, but I'm particularly impressed by their HUMANITY, their extraordinary SENSITIVITY and unfortunately the deep sorrow Iranians carry in their lives. I visited Iran and people were unbelievably welcoming and nice to me, and some of the Iranian women I've come across in my life are some of the best HUMANS I've EVER met. They've taught me a lot about human values and supporting your beloved ones, so kudos to the Iranian diaspora because, even if you sometimes feel powerless and think you are not helping your people out, you are actually doing it by teaching us, the rest of the world, how you truly are!
The regime has stolen and taken over your country, and we should all challenge the picture we have about Iran and Iranians and keep in mind there is a huge difference between what a dictatorial regime thinks and does, and what people living there think and do. And this probably applies everywhere, as it was the case in the country I'm from during a big part of the 20th century, when most of the Spanish society was against the regime.

She fled to go live with her uncle's family. This is here in US in California.I think some of these men carry it with them everywhere they go. It was insane behavior. Soul crushing for her. The Iranian regime considers itself equivalent to Islam, and the leader of this regime has named himself the representative of God. They rule the people in the name of religion and God and have done many atrocities to the people of Iran. For example, Iran's currency has become the most worthless currency in the world, regime officials are inexperienced people, Iran's economy has been destroyed, and more than 70% of Iranian people live below the poverty line and their income is less than 500 dollars a month. The Iranian regime has been oppressing Iranians for years. Women are the most victims of the oppression of the Iranian regime. People's anger erupted on the day when a 22-year-old girl named Mahsa was killed by Iran's moral police because of her headscarf. People came to the streets to protest, but the Iranian regime beat and killed people. So far, more than 500 people have been killed, 70 of whom were children... I’m looping this powerful video. As an American who has travelled a lot, including to Russia in 2019, I know that conflating the people with the regime is dangerous. The situation in Russia is much different than Iran, since most Russian people have been brainwashed by their media and education system, but people everywhere love family and good food. I was in engineering classes in the late 1970s with a wonderful young Iranian woman who invited several of us to her house for a fabulous Persian meal. In spite of her warmth and generosity, I lost track of her and don’t remember her name, but I have been thinking of her ever since. Strength and resilience to the Iranian protesters from an admiring senior citizen.

На днях я провела целое расследование, долго изучала ваши ролики, сравнила фотографии (делала скриншоты с роликов) и пришла к выводу, что Атила и Киффнесс - это разные люди ☺. Смогла различить только по глазам, ибо всё остальное у вас очень похоже: и фигура, и лица, и волосы, и бородки с усами. Вроде руки немного отличаются. К тому же на Вашем пальце обручальное кольцо есть, а у Атилы нет. У Атилы на ушах есть серёжки, а на Вас я ни разу не заметила.
В связи с этим у меня возник большой вопрос: Вы и Атила - родственники? Или, может быть, хотя бы знакомые? Почему вы так похожи друг на друга?
