Next time, don't boil the chicken. Either grill them or put them in a skillet and cook them that way. I promise you that the chicken texture and flavor will be ramped up 100 times more. Boiling makes them much less flavorful no matter how much you season the water. It also gives it a weird and unpleasant texture.
My cousin made these for me and they were amazing. I even said I would’ve never Boiled the chicken but believe me the texture wasn’t weird and it was packed with flavor. So maybe it’s just a personal option to do it your way but her recipe works 🙌🏾❤️ I now can’t wait to make chicken tacos like this because I can’t stop thinking about how good they are. That’s why my cousin sent me this recipe 😂

It always tastes AMAZING, though. I have extremely high standards. Being married to a Cajun man has made me that way lol. Cajuns know how to develop flavors in ways even professional chefs don't understand. Boiling meat has never been a way to do this. My man has ruined food, in a way, for me. He raised the bar that many can not simply ever attain. It is VERY frustrating lol.

We all have different opinions on foods, but that is what makes sharing meals with others so special! Sharing different cultures, recipes, preferences and more. I live in southeastern Louisiana. Our culture is literally built around food and family. The reasons above are why it's such a huge part of our culture...❤️
Followed this recipe from beginning to end. I made the sauce you have which I think it sour cream and red wine vinegar, added McCormick's Crushed Jalepeño Pepper(to mine) and a good time was had between my son and I. Thank you kindly. Such a flavorful and delicious chicken taco. Hands down for us!

I did it boiled but I punctured the chicken breast before boiled and it taste great but when I try it again I won’t boil it. I saw your comment late 😂
