This fight has the one mechanic I am weak to:
Predicting and forward thinking where the fire will end up while moving and under a time pressure
This fight also has one my one weakness: Being set on fucking fire
it's those cleave tethers for me :/
For the fourth purgation, if you look at "M" shape face up, the safe spot is always the side of the M which the middle spinning lines are spinning towards
Yes that’s how I’ve been doing it. Only caveat is if it’s CW it’s to the right of the M, but if it’s CCW it’s to the left.
Mizzteq, thank you for the great guide as usual! I discovered your guides as a sprout back in 2019, and I have now just started trying higher end content. Your Extreme guides have helped me to build confidence and clear every EW Extreme so far. Just cleared Rubicante Ex yesterday!
If the ones holding the tethers get max stacks (I think 5) they not only die, they explode and kill the entire raid as well. You can try to suicide to prevent this, but I think the tether jumps to someone else.
Ngl I struggle with those expanding AOEs with the roulette lol. If the attack animation itself wasn't so extra it'd be easier for me to see and feel out.
I come here for the puns and jokes cause I probably won't clear it

Phase 1 was fine for me and my tiny brain, but phase two made my head go boom @_@
Can't get passed the phase after the add one. We all just die as there is too much confusion. Think I might just give up on this one.

I actually got past flamespire claw in pf and then we wiped on the second immolation and then the party dissolved and I'm so upset lol
I don't know why I ever watch these. If she talks too fast for me to absorb anything or what lol. I guess it just helps me get a visual on the fight because the only way to really learn these shits is going in and dying repeatedly.

I personally can work with MSQ's guides well better than the ones from hector. Especially because she shows actual gameplay footage of the fight wich is alot easier to understand for me than Hectors Theory.
Both are real good. But i waited for this guide for quite a while because hector jsut made me more puzzled especially for the flamespire brand/rake phase
I like how no one has pointed out "MSQ" yet.
I like to combine both, one is more theory-explaining, and then come here to get the Aha-effect from seeing the actual fight and different explanation :D
Compared to Storms Crown extreme, Mount Ordeals was therapeutic lol definitely way easier than I expected it to be, except for those fire puzzle bits. They can go to hell lol

the prepositioning and standing on waymarks at the beginning is foreign to me. i play on JP server, and we just do macro and tell in pt chat which position we take.

@@DJ_Khaalis I found barbariccia ex super ez compared to this, my brain has a really hard time following rotating platform mechs (reason why back in the day hyadelin ex was easier for me than zodiark ex) so I just Dorito that mech entirely, *no shame*

I have literally never heard anyone say anything like this. Nobody else has a problem with it. I bet you're just dissing her voice because you're unhappy with a woman explaining these mechs to you.
If something bothers you that much you can just...stop listening? There is no reason to continue listening to the video if, by your own admission, it is painful to listen to? You're willingly hurting yourself?
As for the criticism, If that's how they talk then that's how they talk? It's not really your place to disparage them for it - nowhere in this video did they ask for tips on what they could do better - so your comment was wholly unnecessary. And even if they DID ask, you could word it in such a way that it doesn't make you sound like a complete jerk. Hopefully this helps you to think about phrasing your (unwarranted) criticisms better next time!
Neither of these are particularly interesting comments to read so I stopped beyond the first few words with all that passive aggression. Yeah I won't listen to these obviously but many people with a speech impediment like that get it fixed, especially in theatre because it is so abrasive.
Anything more isn't worth my time to read on my feed (if it even shows up).
I have to resort to PF and some groups are just terrible with some early mechanics. I think I've been at it like 50 times already. I'm currently stuck at the limit cut with the tethers.
