  • Out of all the prayer guidance Jesus gives in His sermon on the mount, there is only one topic that He goes back to: forgiveness. Unforgiveness is no small sin, God treats it as a crime worthy of hell, and anyone who professes Christ must avoid the rotten root of unforgiveness and bitterness.

I am so thankful for this ministry... and this Sermon on the Mount that Jesus gave and I have read so many times but this time through has been the most revealing to me as Christ is just speaking to me personally and with a clarity I had not been given in this Sermon on the Mount before now. I think a reason for that is the days we are in and GOD is drawing us closer to Christ and for some they are falling away, because as Pastor put it so adeptly put it in this message. You either Believe what this Word says or you don't. When Christ returns the time is up at that moment you either Believe in Him and His Word or you don't. The time to be purged of all our unrighteousness is daily self examination. Forgiveness is not a feeling, it was a decision brought on by this very Scripture in Mathew 6:14-15. Quite some time ago they hit me between the eyes and I believed it was true. I Forgive because I am forgiven SO MUCH I can spend eternity Thanking GOD and Praising Him for His Grace and Mercy and it won't be long enough. I have people I love that don't forgive me and I pray for them because I don't want them to go before GOD with these grievances and suffer the consequences. I had to Forgive people some of some wicked things because I do not have the right to not forgive them. I love my Secret Place with GOD He hears me and I am profoundly humbled because I am nobody in a world of nearly 8 Billion people. But GOD is present with me there. GOD Bless everyone. ALL GLORY TO GOD!

The sermon on the mount teaches God will forgive us when we forgive others. That's in the Prayer Jesus taught His disciples. So forgiveness here is conditional. This is a condition under the old covenant. Christ had not died yet. It's different now in the new Covenant. We are taught the opposite in the apistles. Forgive as God forgive you in Christ. Love as Christ loved you. Most of the sermon on the mount is teaching while still under the old covenant. Under the law. We are in the Spirit now. Born again, walking in the Spirit. Forgiven for (all) our sins. Hebrews 8:12. Our sins have been( put) away. Hebrews 9:26. This is why we don't have a guilty conscience any more like under the old covenant. Hebrews 9. Note verses 9: and 14. Hallelujah.

Dear Pastor Tim, I pray and plead to Holy Abba to take me up. I pray to dear Lord that I just want to be with him. I pray Abba, I am clean, and faithful and humble before you. I pray Holy Father, I love you, and worship you, and need you, please don’t leave me down here anymore. There is nothing here for me anymore, nobody talks to me, nobody will miss me, this world has nothing for me anymore, and I am completely separated from it. Please pray on my behalf for Holy Abba to take me up. 🙏
Thank you, and God bless you. Amen

Looks like a righteous prayer. But have you gone after lost souls? Can you labour to bring just one more lost soul b4 going to ABBA? You said nobody will miss you, what about your brethren in YAHUSHA Hamashiach? Or do you not have anyone who is a brother or sister in the Messiah? I seriously think you need to humble yourself and let ABBA decide when to take you and also make sure you are truly in YAHUSHA the Messiah. Bc sometimes we think we are ready but we are not. Just saying.

@@simonokeke6354 Thank you for your reply. The Lord came to me three years ago (out of the blue), and changed me with the power of the Holy Spirit. I can see (through revelation) that I am in Christ, and I can see the Lord’s foundation, ‘1 Corinthians 3.’ I know that I am contributing to the foundation even though I cannot see the particular changes i’ve made; I can only see the foundation as a whole. The best that I can describe what I am seeing is that it looks like the skyline of a very large metropolis, but everything is gold and dark all around it. I don’t know how many lost souls i’ve brought to the Lord, only the Father knows. Sharing God’s word with whoever I can is the seed of Love the Father planted in my soul. I feel sadness because people don’t have any interest in, and don’t want to hear the only thing that will save their life (God’s Word). Speaking God’s word is like yelling ‘fire’ in a building. I asked for your prayer, because I recognize the Grace God gave to Pastor Tim. I know Abba hears my prayers, and He knows in my heart how much I hate sin and how much I hate living amongst sin. I have so much Love for my Holy Father, and Yeshua Hamashiach, I just want to be with them and away from sin, but I know that I need to continue doing His will. God Bless You.

@@simonokeke6354 Please let me know if there is anything that you disagree with in this:
God chose us in Christ (the Elect, eklektós) before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4), and grace has been given to them “in Christ Jesus before the world began” (2 Tim 1:9).
The Father gave the Elect to His Son, and the Son accepted them (John 6:37).
Of the Elect it is stated that they belong to the Father and have been given by Him to Christ (John 17:6). Therefore, they are said to be written in the “Lamb’s book of life” (Rev 21:27). He became Guarantor (Savior) for all of them (Heb 5:9).
The Son agreed to die on the cross for those His Father gave Him, according to the will of God our Father (Gal 1:4).
The Son, having assumed the identical nature of Elect sinners, would become their Substitute, remove their sins from them, and take their sins for His account as if he Himself had committed them (Isa 53:11).
He saved us by regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5).
The reprobate are not predestined to destruction; God Passes Over them and leaves them in their sins (Matt 15:13).

Tim is reading from an ESV, not the real Bible.
Therefore, he doesn't know the difference between personally "forgiving" someone's sins....
....and "remitting" their sins on Christ's behalf.
I was grieved when I realized the enemy caused him to switch Bibles.

I need the kind of help forgiving that Cory got from the Lord because I’m in traumatic pain and the people who hurt me don’t even think they have done something wrong and continue to do it. What do I do?? I’ve been in agony for months trying to forgive and it’s overwhelming, plus I have the guilt of being “unforgiving” on top of it. Please Lord give me wisdom and peace.

I am sorry to hear you are suffering.
Try to look at your current situation as an opportunity, a chance to grow in forgiveness.
To grow in patience, you need adversity to persevere through.
To grow in forgiveness, it seems reasonable to me that you would need people to forgive.
Is it not possible that while you are growing in forgiveness, those who you are struggling to forgive will see Christ in you as you forgive them.
All things working together for the good.....
I will be praying that God's will is done in you and your life and that the Lord comforts you in him.

If you have the Holy Spirit, you will be able to forgive and even have compassion with the people and not bitterness. Thinking about heaven that is promised to us, what is this pain in comparison to hell? If I couldn't find the strength to forgive others, I would honestly question my own salvation. It is grace when God leads us in certain situations when sin comes out and we see our ugliness. It is pure grace! The answer is always to seek Christ and learn from Him to become more like Him. For Hi is meak and humble in heart. If you walk closely with Christ, forgiveness will come automatically. Seek Him, dear soul. Seek Him. In our own strength we cannot forgive others, never.

    • @bygraceonly182
      @bygraceonly182 Pƙed 3 lety +1

Elena Baumann I know you mean well for God’s glory with your comment and you’re probably writing with a heart of love but there is such a thing as trauma and it does require time to heal. Maybe go a little easier on people? I’m secure in my faith in Christ and His grace toward me.
I understand 100% intellectually that forgiveness for others is needed. I am in agony because I KNOW it doesn’t please the Lord to be struggling to forgive in bitterness. Unfortunately it’s my experience that forgiveness is not automatic and it’s not easy. I actually don’t find any of God’s commands automatic until the Holy Spirit has been working on me for quite a while in each area. It’s not magic, it’s spiritual muscles. That’s why it’s progressive sanctification right? He sets us free and then starts building from the ground up. The Bible makes it clear we are still going to struggle as we grow to be more be more like Him.
I DO have the Holy Spirit and I intensely DESIRE to forgive in this situation (usually I am very quick to forgive and overlook) but right now I am in so much pain that I am fighting my flesh off like a rabid dog while continuing to sustain additional wounds in the process. Hence my plea... I just need prayer for a softer heart and forgiveness not a salvation check up. 😬
I say this not because I want to defend MY salvation but because I would hope you could soften your response to people struggling enough it voice their need for support instead of implying that their struggle should be a cause for even more distress in questioning their eternal security. I think the desire for change (the beginning of repentance) should be sufficient evidence of a true faith, not the ability to avoid struggling with sin in the first place.
I hope my words are helpful, I’m not trying to embarrass or belittle. I just want to gently point out that your response could cause some unintended damage for those who are already in really painful situations of grief and frustration at struggling to forgive. I doubt it was your intention to cause harm. 💕 thanks for caring enough to write a reply.
      Blessings
PS. I’m probably being overly sensitive. I’m sorry.

How can you believe in the same CHRIST and believe HE is in you and you are now afraid of Demons? Repent of your sins of unbelieve and and every sin and confess to CHRIST and be cleansed and be bornagain and walk in power and authority over every Demon and forces of darkness.
