16vastraturbo probably not. I wouldn't put my build info online. I would rather surprise those I choose to race. That racing channel isn't going to make you rich off 1 video. You could get a good race and walk away with5000$ every couple weekends racing supercharged mustangs and other stuff depending on where you are in US.

thanks a lot men. I don't know how much power I make because my car never got to the dyno. I made a couple of times 9.8*@152mph. I will upload another video tonight. yes I know I have to back the power down at the start, my car is front wheel drive that is why I have traction issues, thanks again for the respond and keep the good work too your car is fast as hell
+Gab Gab thank you, I hope you're at least running a dual stage boost controller, 9.8 at 152MPH you got to be at least around 600WHP if your car is seating around 2400LBS
hehe I have a three stage boost controller but I'm not using it right now. I have to swap to discs brake at the rear to have a speed sensor for the boost controller work well. this summer I will have a better control of my power. i think my car is doing around 600whp. what is the number of yours ?

You have done this right all I need now is your knowledge. I just picked up a stock mk3 vr6. The box, the ecu, the throttle body, fuel pump, what turbo and boost. Did you loose your a/c fitting the intercooler?, I saw you fit new pistons, did you go oversize. Did a number on that ZXR there high end speed bikes, good rolling start.
sorry for not replying back to you right way, I have been very busy with work, family and race car, stock size pistons are 81MM... I have 81.50MM to clean all the imperfections from the block , in order to help you I need to know how much power you are looking to make..... if you are asking for the A/C system it makes me believe that you want to regular drive it on the street, in this case you may be looking for a 300-400HP car to keep the A/C, anything over that HP number the intercooler appropriate size will be big enough to interfere with your A/C condenser and front bumper space available to fit the intercooler.... you can put a slim race fans in there, move things 1 to 2 inches back, to make thing work with a lot of front bumper plastic trimming.... 370WTQ still safe before 3rd/4th gears start to break around 400WTQ, where the big money start to come in for race gears or just do an 02M transmission conversion and you'll be good to 500WHP..... I need to know better details so I can guide you better on your application.

vr6roadrunner Ya man your car is fast either way, cause even a stock gen4 ZX10 is fast as Hell to 190 ish. One with the mods listed is one of the fastest bikes there is.
Usually takes over 1000whp to beat a bike like this, or really good gearing.
Not to take away from the win, but it really sounds like the bike was spinning in each of the runs, even at the start of the video. Either he's spinning the rear wheel or the clutch is slipping. It revs out to cutoff in a fraction of a second. Those bikes are next to impossible to beat, especially on highway pulls.

I always thought not to put a VR6 in a Mk2 or Mk3 (rather Mk2 for me) because it's so heavy and there is so much weight on the front axle. But every time I see those guys hitting 500+ hp with few modification on their VR's...
How does the tranny handle the torque? 02M 350 nm 6 gear, isn't it? Is it forged?

+blacktop2001 vwvortex.com is a good place, turbo your v8, you can make power easier and cheaper.
Already pushing my stock 302 block to its limits with the procharger d1sc. little over 500 horsepower at the rear wheels. Dart blocks are rather expensive and i figured with less parts, one head its got to be cheaper and easier to rebuild. I get no traction now with the supercharger. I can't imagine with a turbo and all of that torque. my last stock 302 shortblock lasted me 7 years which I'm told is a pretty long time for 500 horsepower. the block finally broke in many places. ruining everything but the heads. I have another stock short block all ready to go but was just thinking down the road. I used to own a Volkswagen GTI 337 and I'm familiar with vwvortex.com.
+blacktop2001 there are a lot of big v8 motors out there that you can make a lots of power, you can make 400HP-500HP on a lot of 4-6-8 cylinders motors, but from that point up you'll have to build it to be stronger depending on what motor you'll use, forged pistons, forged rods, some motors may require a stronger crank shaft depending on how much power you want to make...... if you're making 500HP to the rear wheels and are not happy with your traction problem on a rear wheel drive car it will get much worst on a front wheel VW car..... also for a reliable 500WHP VW you'll have to built the motor with forged pistons and rods.... your budget is your limit... Figure out the best gears ratio, good traction tires and a suspension setup for your car and your traction will improve a lot.
