Every song on this live album is phenomenal. I think I’m most excited for you to hear Sign of the Cross and The Clansman, mainly Sign of the Cross, because of how you never really cared for the album version. The live version has so much punch, is a bit more up tempo, and absolutely kicks ass!
Yeah, I'm waiting for it as well. Sign of the Cross is one of my very fav, I like studio record a lot, and live version is crazy. Cannot wait!
Rock in Rio is my second favorite live album by Maiden after Live After Death.

Dave Murray - the happiest guitar player ever! He was my first inspiration when it comes to learning to play the instrument. Adrian was back after leaving the band for years.

Bruce and Janick wrote this sone that's why Bruce likes singing it. His style of writing, also why Janick had a solo and the rest were just filling in.
My favorite one from this gig is Dream Of Mirrors. It's so full of life and the solo played by Janick is so cool, perhaps his best one.

I watched this dvd until make a hole in it. 250k f*ckin crazy fans (me included). The track that makes me goosebumps is Wratchild because There’s no one live performance that Maiden have played this track so brutal! And sanctuary because of the interaction with the crowd. But the entire performance is surreal! 🤘🏼

My favorite song from Rock in Rio is The Clansman, from Virtual XI . The vibe with Bruce singing that song is far better than the studio version. You can give a second chance with Sing of The Cross, too. Can’t wait your reaction again on those songs 😉

I was there... back then I was an 18 years old kid who just finished high school. I went to Rock in Rio festival without my mother knowing with no more than $20 in my pocket (thanks for it Dad) and it was amazing. The fun fact is that my mother was actually in Rio that that and she saw me on the TV news because the crowd was complaining and screaming for water in the 50 celsius hot Hell de Janeiro.
Good memories... my first ever Maiden concert, the first one since Bruce returned to the band in 1999.
I'm flying from London to Mexico City to watch Maiden next week! Cannot wait!

My favourite on this album is The Clansman, as it is far superior to the album version sung by Blaze. The Trooper is quite good as Bruce quotes a bit of Tennyson's Charge Of The Light Brigade poem as an introduction.

Favorite song from this album? Hallowed be Thy Name is probably my favorite. However, my playlist almost always includes pretty much all the songs! Fear of the Dark is incredible. Dream of Mirrors is a close 2nd for me.

Each time they release a new DVD it s fucking awesome, Live After Death, Maiden Englan, Death on the Road, Book of Souls live Chapter, En vivo, Flight 666, Legacy of the Beast: all hail the Maiden but I have more emotional attachment with Rock n Rio. Dont know how many times seen that DVD
