I live in Florida and my Geography is horrible too. I had no idea where Haiti was. This story touched me to my Soul. I have praying and praying asking God “What am I supposed to do”?????? Help me Lord. I want to be involved with this. I have so much time on my hands it’s ridiculous. I’m a 62 year old Mom of 4 grown children and carrying a heavy cross with God, I’ve finally just Given it ALL to Him. It’s all in regard to my kids, but am Excited to see what He does with my prayers for them. I hope to see the fruits of my prayers but if not that’s All His plan. Praising God everyday, every second for EVERYTHING. It’s ALL GOOD no matter what. Nothing is ever a coincidence. ✝️🙏❤️🕊️📿

This video was so beautiful and actually stirred my heart to the calling of missionary work, potentially even like you; in Haiti. You are so right that there is a deep poverty of feeling like life is meaningless and we are not filling a purpose. But this is so beautiful, because you are right. Anyone with a beating heart of love is meaningful to this world. I would love to experience the strength and joy of these people for myself one day. Praise Jesus!

Father God give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. At times I want to give up but I know God will provide.
Remember that God never gives us more than we can handle. You are the mother God chose for your children, and because of that, your vocation is beautiful and sacred and planned. God will give you the strength you need to be the mother that they need. Because more than anything: they just need you. They need the image of Christ in a mother who would give anything for them, they need the love of Christ in their mother who will bless them with the little resources she has. You were MADE for this life, and to fulfill your vocation. Don't ever lose sight of that. Praying for you and your beautiful family.

Truth. They weren’t done paying their fines to their previous slave owners until 1947!

What is the status of this work in 2024? So much has deteriorated in Haiti in recent years.
Amazingly - Haiti 180 continues its work. We continue to fund the doctor. And the orphanage/clinic/home are still open.
Pray.
