Just want to thank the university.
This speech had me on he edge of tears. Why is it that we have to depend on our youth to uphold the values we older generations claim to have it is ironic that the University had to claim none support for that speech. And these young people are better educated, more aware of today's social issues, less influenced by our mainstream media that is controlled by a handful of selfish media magnates and are not corrupted by the self interest of our politicians that receive "donations" from AIPAC.
The greatest generation, is yet to come.... And this may be it.

The disclaimer at the end of the video by the man on behalf of the university might have been protocol, but it prompts one to ask the question: What are the views and values of the University of Toledo that are not representative of the wonderful views and values expressed by the speaker?

The biggest honor of my life, and something that I am proud of, is that I stand on the right side of history.
Not on the side of the dark world. During my life I was active in several campaigns, the first of which was the anti-Vietnam war, in which we won. The second was against apartheid, in which we also won. Now, it is the campaign to free Palestine.
I consider this more important than the others because now we are against apartheid, war, genocide, and racism all together.
And I promise you that we will win this time too.
