Lyrics:
There comes a time
When we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
Oh, and it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all
We can't go on
Pretending day-by-day
That someone, somewhere soon make a change
We're all a part of God's great big family
And the truth, you know, love is all we need
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me
Oh, send them your heart
So they know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
And so we all must lend a helping hand
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving
Oh, there's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me
When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there's no way we can fall
Well, well, well, well let us realize
Oh, that a change can only come
When we stand together as one, yeah, yeah, yeah
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me
We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and mee
We are the world (are the world)
We are the children (are the children)
We are the ones who'll make a brighter day, so let's start giving (so let's start giving)
There is a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me
Oh, let me hear you!
We are the world (we are the world)
We are the children (said we are the children)
We are the ones who'll make a brighter day so let start giving (so let's start giving)
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me, come on now, let me hear you
We are the world (we are the world)
We are the children (we are the children)
We are the ones who'll make a brighter day so let's start giving (so let's start giving)
There's a choice we're making

We are the world (we are the world)
We are the children (we are the children)

We are the world, we are the world (are the world)
We are the children, yes sir (are the children)
We are the ones that make a brighter day so let's start giving (so let's start giving)
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me, ooh-hoo!
We are the world (dear God) (are the world)
We are the children (are the children)
We are the ones that make a brighter day so let's start giving (all right, can you hear what I'm saying?)

Hey, amazing! Are you Brazilian? or Portuguese?
How he did the Tina Turner part was simply amazing
You mean, it was simply the best?
@japunaka139 that's enough of those dad jokes, that you very much
@@japunakaBetter than all the rest.
Better than anyone. Anyone I've ever met.
Unfortunately his Billy Joel impression right after it was probably the worst one he does.
Dude your MJ and Stevie Wonder we’re on point! Even your Cyndi Lauper was amazing. You’re incredibly talented!!
Stunning ! I am just speachless🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
MJ is added
and Bob Dylan... identical !!!
Right? Amazing how Cyndi Lauper sounded just like the voices before her. Like...a male singer singing the song with a random picture of Cyndi popping up next to him. His voice only changed for Bruce. Decent Boss impression. And the other 20 all count as one. "Guy does 2 voices"
Agree 100%
I just saw the Netflix doc about the making of "We Are the World" and you, sir, are remarkably talented. From Cyndi Lauper to Bruce, to Stevie, MJ, Dylan, Ray, etc...even slightly "lesser-known" artists like Kenny Loggins and James Ingram, you nail every single one.
You must be young if you think Kenny and James are lesser known
James Ingram lesser known? Google him, perhaps you might learn.
I know right!!! 😂😂😂@@mswhunter118
OMG Stevie Wonder and Steve Perry, just beautiful.
When a guy sings the female parts just as well as the original singers, you know he's beyond talented.
Que liiiiindo . Quem é você? Muito e por esse vídeo maravilhoso 😍😭❤️😘😻😻❤️❤️❤️
The fact
To be fair if I closed my eyes the only recognizable female voice I would hear is Cindy Lauper. Don’t get me wrong he did very well but he’s still male.
totally agree
I agree
lol, this made me bust out laughing. Not because I think he's bad, far from it. His facial expressions for each part were so spot on it was hilarious. Nothing but respect.
Oh my goodness @jwdonnel. I went back and listened again and watched the faces more and just listened. Omg what a freaking thing😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I was about to say the same thing till I saw your comment. This is brilliant. This guy deserve a Grammy for this performance.
Its the outfits lmfao
@@realjohnlove yup and the faces!😂😂
Wow very talented ❤❤
I am lost for words. Just 1 guy taking the world
When he did Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder’s mannerisms I was floored. He’s amazingly talented!!

Woooow, so talented 👏👏👏👌🌹❤️
Tina Turner and Cyndi Lauper!
not so Lionel but he nailed it overall! 👏👏👏
Bravo!
I’ve watched this about 15 times. I’m 64 years old and I grew up listening to and watching these singers perform so I know their voices and their mannerisms very well. The detail and the artistry in your imitations are staggering in accuracy. You are very good. I hope you get the recognition and success that you deserve. I really enjoy your videos.
Exactly, I'm 51 and I have always loved this song. He did a wonderful job 👏
same!!
im 15 but i really love these kind of songs
Yo tenía 15 años cuando esta canción fue grabada, con los mejores cantantes de aquella época y es una canción maravillosa que marcó nuestras vidas, y tu trabajo es sencillamente maravilloso. Felicitaciones!! Saludos desde Arica-Chile 🇨🇱
Buenos dias 🥰@@amerikamorena
Your Bob Dylan impression was outstanding! And your mannerisms! Bravo!

You are amazing brilliant fantastic talented great and simply the best! You the man!
Omg this boy is more than great. He needs an award and someone to sign him up
Simply Amazing!
@@danielsimon3518 simply amazing!
RIGHT🤣
The Ray Charles Facial expressions.....🤣😂🤣😂 Great performance, not at all what i was expecting. ❤❤❤
Being an old vocal performer, I am really impressed. Love this song as well. You never know how much a "penny" means to someone else. Be kind - doesn't cost anything and you will feel it.
He is extremely gifted. That is raw talent. Fantastic❤❤
Stevie Wonder’s part’s just incredible
Yes Steve's part is great, but Bruce's hasn't got enough grit, too smooth.
Absolutely 👍
Yes!!
Stevie Wonder... WONDERFUL!!
Who steve perry?
Nobody says nothing about the fantastic solo part of Stevie wonder. Oh god! You kill it
Im going to say the same! The video was funny but when he do the part of Stevie Wonder... Wow it's amazing!! I love that part in the original and this is exactly the same!! Bravo!! 😮👏👏
Even stevie's hands moves he covers
I think, my personal favorite was your Cindy Lauper....
And he sings Stevie Wonder together with Springsteen and both sounds awesome. Amazing talent.
Absolutely captivating..amazing👏👏👏
This is actually brilliant. Best Bob Dylan imitation ever!! And hitting those Stevie Wonder high notes is no joke! Well well done 👍
Dylan was on point!!!
So much! ❤
Yeah I knew those high notes from Stevie in his second chorus was coming and I was nervous for him. 😄 He hit those high notes clean!
Excellent impressions. I wasn't ready for Quincy conducting. 😂😂😂
Neither was I. My coffee came out my nose with the first time Quincy came up 😂
I didn’t expect Quincy either.
I lost it 😂😂😂😂
That scene upgraded this video from great to legendary. 🏆
I've never seen somebody nail an MJ impression so on point until now...WOW!!
Forget Michael, what about Dionne Warwick, that was crazy
@@fajos19820426 Only people who knows Micheals voice and how voice tones work, will catch this 💪🏾
Well, MJ first chorus is singed by MJ himself if you listen to the instrumental. And I don't understand why they left the vocals of MJ singing "We are the world, we are the children...."
Because that's what MJ originally did in this video. He came to the set first for this reason
He sang over mikes voice
The Stevie Wonder impersonation was spot on!
❤
That Bob Dylan was on point! All of them were honestly. This was amazing. You’re amazing!
He also made the Quincy Jones part directing, so much attention to detail
The way u imitated Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson touched my heart. Cyndi Lauper too.
The talent of this guy is INCREDIBLE! I’ve never heard a singer be able to emulate such a distinct impression of these singers
I can't explain my feelings while watching this.. laughing while crying.. outstanding! 🤭🤣👍🏻😂👏🏻
I am speechless!!!! Extraordinary piece!!!! LOVE IT !!!!!
As someone who has watched the original We Are the World video countless times, this was such a fun thing to see! You nailed all the vocals along with all of the impersonations of the singers- well done!
When he did Cyndi's part, I nearly lost it!
Except for Bruce, but otherwise great.
As someone who has watched the original video over a thousand times (no lie), I’ve gotta say that you nailed nearly every note and facial expressions…loved the changing of the clothes and especially enjoyed your Ray Charles parts …keep up the hard work JC
Right u are
I also watched the original video a dozen times today alone (so I'm well on pace to reach a thousand views in foreseeable future 😀). I totally agree with @GP9167's comment above that @JC "nailed nearly every note and facial expressions". He even changed some cloths to match the original styles. And, why nobody mentioned that cute Bruce Springsteen's hair style? 😀 My only nitpick would be the lack of a red/yellow wig to match Cyndi's hairstyle. 🙂 Nonetheless, amazing work! Thank you, @JC!
That's a four chair turn from me. One of the greatest, most powerful songs ever written in our generation. God bless you for your fantastic performance. You're making a difference.
Amazing, amazing, amazing!
BRAVISIMO !!!
That Stevie Wonder impression was just amazing
Absolutely. Love it how he really got into character.
His Michael Jackson impression wasn’t bad either.
How about Quincy Jones and Ray Charles?, 😁😁🥰
Absolutely.
Im 52 years old. I grew up listening to all these wonderful singers. I have to say you were spot on with every single one of them. U have a special gift. U will be recognized one day.
its funny movements to Conductor , ouh yeah my dear talented friend
This was one of the GREATEST moment in music history in my mind. I was about to graduate from high school when this song came out.... I love this video..... This song always makes me cry whenever I hear...
its been 2 years and still this is a masterpeace
Yes, Indeed
It's insane how well you studied the nuances of each of the vocalists. Way to go this is amazing!!!
Your Ray Charles part, expression , every nuances... just incredible ❤🎉❤🎉
Excelente, Show, muito boa a escolha para um tributo. Congratulation
It’s awesome. I love the details like the facial expression and the clothes changes
Thank you 😊

Beautiful & talented...
Thank you for honouring great artists. & Africa
Your the best...
My God! When I first saw this I said to myself there’s no way he’s going to get all of these talented singers voices. You definitely proved me wrong! I don’t use the word amazing a lot but that you truly are! Extremely talented young man and I hope you blow up from this.
You nailed not only Stevie Wonder's solo, but also his dancing and body language during it. Great attention to all these sorts of details throughout the whole video. Love it!
And Ray Charles too! 😊
And Michael jackson too🎵 and Bruce Springsteen too🎵...he had Bruce's facial expressions, I actually could see Bruce singing his part🎙️🎶....oh my goodness ((OMG))..he nailed everything perfectly🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Exactly what Michael wanted.... for his music to live on. Great tribute!
This is absolute gold. All the idiosyncrasies that make each person/singer unique - even the facial expressions! Just phenomenally done!
This youngman having 25 super voice.. amazing, love it❤❤
Honestly the Bob Dylan was spot on, you captured his tone perfectly, brought a damn tear to my eye when in got the final Stevie Wonder part. God bless that voice 🙏
That was nice. The days when singers sing to interpret songs instead of showing off how they can sing or not they can hit.Respecting each others abilities, tones and timbre and sounding very different from each other with a uniqueness that gives them separate infringing segmented market to explore. When too much effort is not put to write good lyrics instead of what we have today.I hope new artists can learn from our old singers. The younger singers now destroy their voices before they even get to the age of 40yrs etc .You dont need to over use your voice to impress others .Think about durability and longevity of your voice cos if you dont newer artists will come out and make you become redundant.Look at Diana ross at her age she still singing well trust me she does and most times she still sound like the recording she did in the past that is what we call singers with intelligence.Stop all this high not on all songs and simply interpret songs for all to understand so that u will not look odd singing it when u are older as that is the beauty if an artist can so their songs in the next 40yrs without strain in their face.
I don't believe I've ever been so impressed with anyone's voice as I find in yours. This was really over the top. I remember well the night I recorded this onto VHS tape from my TV set many years ago. I still have that copy today. You truly did this justice as the tears ran down my face as I listened to your wonderful rendition! Thank you for putting this together and then sharing it with us.
You’re very welcome! Thank you for your amazing feedback 💙🙏
Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your continued support on this video! Even after 4 years of recording it, I am still in awe of the amount of love and support I receive on it daily.
P.S. - Some of you keep asking and wondering if I have gotten any public recognition from this, and the answer is no, I have not. But that was never my intention with this video. My main goal was to spread love, joy and laughter at a time when the world needed it most and it worked! 😊 God bless you and thank you 🙏 I love you all - WE ARE THE WORLD! ❤
Man, that was absolutely awesome!
Michael would be proud of you, cheers to the hours of work no one sees, just the masterpiece your sang!
2:55 Great!!!
I appreciate the tribute! And I think you did a fine job for Michael’s part. There will never be another Michael Jackson but his legacy will live on forever

Woww is fantastic. The music is the best of the world.🎼🔥
My second comment here: had to stop my car to write this… somehow my car selected bluetooth for audio and picked up YT where this video was on… I was listening to it thinking it was the original until I got to look at the screen at the end and said “JC Almeida”! .. wow
This is what this WORLD NEEDS RIGHT NOW NOT JUST FOR AFRICA BUT THE ENTIRE WORLD !
Cyndi Lauper's part is so cute! 😂 Bravo! You did a great job! ❤
Thought he was going to chock on her part..😂

Not sure if anyone mentioned in but damn that Steve Perry part where you come from off-screen (like in the real clip) was hilarious! great attention to details haha

Astonishing 🎉🎉 I love how you went completely mental with the Cyndi Lauper section. 😂😂😂 Simply BRILLIANT 👍👍👍
Well done brother. Great idea and nailed it. 👏👏👏
Bruce Springsteen 😂😂😂😂he’s my all time favourite singer. You nailed it. The facial expressions, him coming close to the mic before singing😂😂😂😭this was so nice to watch. Well done man!
Awesome! Loved the Bob Dylan and Cyndi Lauper impressions!
Fornostios Thank you 👍

Wow these are great impressions, especially considering that these were some of the greatest American vocalists of all time. One tagt stood out to me that I haven’t seen many others commenting on was your Kenny Loggins impression, I thought it was spot on
Amazingly accurate! Nailed it!
I don't know why this hasn't blown up on the internet. You are truly talented, not only singing but listening and being able to reproduce it. The bassy voices seem harder for you but this is truly magnificent, thank you. Greetings from Germany!

Great job! I was 18 years old when this was released in 1985. As a singer myself (tenor), I was very impressed. You imitated their runs, modulations and inflections quite well.
