It's a cool car, and fun having to rev to get the power when you're giving it some. If its anything like a K20 Honda then I'm guessing it's a bit lame out of lift if you're caught in the wrong gear? Also you will have to get Kumail's EP3 back for a head to head against the Corolla! 😁
Hahaha! To be fair, even when not in lift, it is a fucking fun car man. It still performs really well. I wouldn't say it's lame per say, it obviously isn't the same as lift but it's still immense fun. And yea I would get his EP3 on the channel again but it wouldn't be comparable to the Rolla

Great video. As ulez is kicking in soon I'll be offloading the diesel. Can you do a buyers guide? The extras that come with the car, And good basic mods, ie I read the LSD from the mk3 Mr2, bolts straight on too. Also anyway to improve the 6th gear ratio to make it cruise ? Cheers will be waiting for the next content. 👌🏿

Yea, the throws between gears seem quite large for the car it is lol
@@ZGVlogs classic Toyotaisms, they like to hold back. Maybe test drive a mrtwo or a Celica T sport.. See if there's a difference.? Been reading on various forums, gearbox can be reconditioned to have shorter throws and 5th/6th gear were lowered to be economical?
@@superthierry1 ill have to look into it more. But with regards to motorway cruising, you won't see 40MPG. In fact you'll struggle to better 38

@@ZGVlogs thanks he will appreciate that haha. they only have 180bhp and probs lost 30 of that so probs 150 or something now so they are under powered for a big hatchback to be fair

@@ZGVlogs 192PS which is 189BHP. That 3 inch exhaust may add a few horses on so wouldn't be surprised if it dyno'd over 190BHP.
@@dionwilkinson3028 since when would a car lose 30BHP... This is a Toyota engine. You're uncles talking out of his behind. These aren't fast cars compared to today's 300bhp turbo 4WD beats, but they're not 'slow'.
