To be honest I never pay for public transport in Sydney and I'm always let Through. It's due to the fact I'm well presented and dress in a half decent manner. If you dress like a lad though they will pick you up on everything.

The first one backfired horribly when you were treating the towie like dicks and he was being a genuine nice guy giving you the chance to leave the clearway without a fine or anything.
In that area you dont get a fine unless you are towed away.
Some areas have automatic cameras where you are fined and towed or if you drive away but are there after the time you are fined via mail
most tow truck drivers are scum. I came to this conclusion when I was involved in an accident driving to work. I was clearly stressed out about losing my car & not being able to make it to my job yet had 5 of them swarming around me trying to convince me to go with them like vultures. One even sprouting complete utter lies to try trick me into thinking he was my best option.
No respect whatsoever for this breed of human.
He's just a tow truck driver, he can't issue a fine. He was rushing them to leave because he wanted to tow the next car behind before the owner gets back so he can make his money off towing their car. It's also illegal to tow a car with a driver in which is why he was rushing them to leave.
