- A hero named Robert C. Moore came to the rescue of a man who drove off the Lynchburg Ferry in Baytown. The Coast Guard honored the good Samaritan with an award.
Poor guy...he'd had enough and was trying to get away from Houston.
Bwahahaha! Yep, it's funny!
Maybe he was just following the highlighted route on his Garmin ….
Seriously, I read, years ago not long after Garmin Navigator navaids came out, that some guy in Denmark did just that - mindlessly following the route on his Garmin, and not realizing that he was being directed to take the ferry, and that here was no bridge/ causeway there.
Had a similar problem, Garmin GPS put me about 2 feet away from driving off an unfinished highway overpass in CT
after that close call i donated to the thrift store and learned how to read a map, some people aren't meant for certain things and this certainly was a thing i was not meant for.
no no no that was from the episode of The Office (season 4 episode 3) where Michael Scott drove the car into the lake. He did that before any of yall did that in Denmark or wherever.
I don’t think he wanted to be saved🤷🏽♀️
I think he was trying to make a point to his co-worker about the lunacy of automation and how humans know better than so called "SMART-devices" like GPS.
What was he doing just having a casual conversation before deciding hey maybe I should get in the water
he was showing to his co worker how gps always sends you in the wrong direction
Michael Scott really has to stop following that GPS.
Wow.🙏🏼
It's suicide if u jump in Dat green water... Cancer foe life

@@Im_the_only_GOD haha that’s cute.
Bro really thought there was a road there 💀
Yea that’s on par for Houston drivers, this doesn’t surprise me
Meh have you been to LA? It's worse there
How the hell did this happen?
could be any reason really, from being super tired from work to having their mind full due to recent divorce of 12 years of marriage, and losing a doggie in it?
@@Viirrvill oddly specific but yeah thats a possibility
