It was good to see the car going slow in the same frame as Steve. First time I ever saw such a thing. It helps us see and understand that when the camera is on Steve even though he’s fast he gets the slow mo camera.
yeah Taimak, Oliver Nelson had great instincts with regards to writing music to go hand in hand with whatever cinematic situation arose, he clearly added tons of tension and drama to the earlier SMDM episodes, anyway take care and have a great day.
People can say what they will about newer computer fx vs these "outdated" fx but for myself I really don't care. There was alot of blood, sweat, and REAL stunts that went into these shows and actual story. They will always have my respect
I noticed that. The buliding, Culver institute on The Incredible Hulk was also Rudy Wells lab. Also if you notice the Scene from The Six Million dollar Man rescuing Jaime Sommers in the rain was also a similar scene used in The Hulk episode "Married" when he went after his new wife in the hurricaine.
NO one will be Steve Austin but Lee. And this music from this show totally ruled. HOPE they use the same music in the new movie coming out or it will fail.
@Bodybuddha Not only that, but doesn't Steve ever get hot/dehydrated running around the desert in those leisure suits? I mean yeah, he's got bionic legs and all, but did they install a cooling system too?
This must have been from a German dubbed version, as he grunts when he jumps and lands. He never did that in the original series. Don't ask me why, but the Germans ALWAYS dub grunts and gasps onto everything.
yeah, the first seasons music was pretty damn good, tv episode #1 (Population Zero) had hardly any stupid effects but did have this wicked jazz piano part playing over the main theme while he was ripping a metal fence post out of the ground -the visual and music were perfect however the show went downhill right after that episode and only got stupider in later seasons
I've played and replayed this at normal, 2x and 1.75x speed on CZcams's player, and I still can't tell how much you'd have to speed it up to get to what would look like Lee Majors' real running motion. Might be 2.2 - 2.5 x speed. Whatever it is, he was still a really fit man, though he was jogging most of the time.
Man, if you can find playable dvd of the reunions movies. Man ill send your address and payment info. I'm in Texas, AND all dvd for the reunions movies cannot be played on most dvd players.
I loved this show so much as a kid. Still do. Of course it was completely ridiculous as his arm and legs are still attached to a human spine which would break when he lifted a car or jumped off a building.

I never knew that a dude could make running look so cool

He always looked so good when he was running, i loved this show.
wow! the memories.. watched this as a kid in the 80s in Kenya on the only channel VoK. this is time travel indeed
Music from the 70's is so intense that you need to take Valium. Otherwise, your brain will self destruct from so much excitement!
I watched this all the time as a kid, loved it.

That's some great stuff he had in his hair to keep it in place at around 60-70 mph. lol
Seriously, that was a super show. l-o-v-e-d i-t.
50 of the six million dollars went into his hair products.
When you look at the time the special effects were quite incredible, but my favorite parts are the music, especially during the first season.
I always loved the way they tried to give an illusion of speed by using slo-mo..But I'll admit it..I used to watch and enjoy this show.
The secret to his running, is how his head moves smoothly through space like on a rail, and all the action is in his shoulders.
Bingo! I've always described it as his hips moving along an even plain while his shoulders are free to bounce up and down. Same thing.

Lee must have been good at running obstacle courses. He had to do it in almost every episode.
Only one man in the world is gonna chase down a speeding car in a safari suit and leather shoes and win. Who needs superman?
chichichichichiching chichichichichiching chichichichichiching
I just love that bionic sound !!!
foureyedchick its bionic sound force
Perfect combination of music and fx sound effects.
NO one will be Steve Austin but Lee. And this music from this show totally ruled. HOPE they use the same music in the new movie coming out or it will fail.
it will fail anyway. lol
Super serie dommage il y en a plus
for me the best running is intro were wearing the trade mark red track suit and they speed it up....cool but this great too!
if he keeps moving in slow motion like that he's never gona catch that car ! xD
Lee Majors fue atleta en su juventud y su técnica de correr es perfecta
esta era mi serie favorita no me la perdia por nada del mundo gracias por subir parte de una las mejores series de la t.v.
Lee Majors fue atleta en su tiempo
Oliver Nelson scored the best chase / action theme music for the decade.
Love the way he uses his bionic powers to jump over a ditch that’s 3 feet wide 😅
The music is magnificent
Ah, the good old days of 60 miles per hour! :)
No one, I mean no one can get away from Steve,Steve this is Oscar,go get em!????

Ma jeunesse
Lee Majors got a lot of exercise from this show
I know Kenneth Johnson wrote and produced some of The Bionic Woman, but did he have anything to do this show?
@Bodybuddha Not only that, but doesn't Steve ever get hot/dehydrated running around the desert in those leisure suits? I mean yeah, he's got bionic legs and all, but did they install a cooling system too?
moogyboy6 Hauauhauaua good my friend...
The breeze from him running can cool him down hihi
Steve Austin running in bionic mode: slow motion. Knight rider driving in "super pursuit mode": timelapse. Why?
Simply epic!
sweet bell-bottoms!

The runs were always in slow motion so the viewer could go pee or make coffee. ;)
I imagine being bionic you could win at every sports.
Chess?
Let's see. We need a way to convey the fact that Steve is running really fast. Slow motion!
(Still loved the show as a kid, though.)

I ask my uncle if they don't get tired watching this during their time because it's always on slow motion. 🤪
I wonder how they think making it slow motion makes him faster
This was real! Awesome!
Wow, I didn't know he created it (BW). *lol* Johnson was totally cool. He was associated with some to the most memorable shows ever in tv.
A peita desse malandro! Isso sim é que era roupa de homem.
The flares on trousers slowed him by 5 mph though

Hey. He is running at 60 m.p.h.
Metre Per Hour 🤣
I loved this show so much as a kid. Still do. Of course it was completely ridiculous as his arm and legs are still attached to a human spine which would break when he lifted a car or jumped off a building.
