Which of the 4 rumored roller coasters at Epic Universe are you looking forward to most?
Is there an “all of the above” option? They all look amazing!
i cant pick just one!
@@montyness1 exactly what i was gonna say
Yes
The donkey Kong one seems really cool
Universal’s approach to new projects - plan and design in secret, then just start building without announcing and significant details, throwing as many crews as they can to get it done as soon as possible is far superior to Disney’s approach of announce everything up front, delay, scale back on the original promises and drag the work out as long as possible.
Yes, even though I’m not a big fan of universal ips, I have to admire their enthusiasm and efficiency. Will be worth a look definitely. Disney is holding onto their ips for dear life.
Disney has been messing up for more reasons then one recently
Agreed! I'd rather speculate and be surprised than know and be disappointed.
I definitely feel like the rumor mill creates more free buzz. Under promise and out perform is NOT a new concept lol.
That’s not a “disney approach.” That’s a leadership approach and it may sound stupid but I don’t think the past couple of leaders represents the disney way.
Okay but them creating a fake track to play games with your mind that you're jumping the tracks just like in the Donkey Kong games is genius
I’m surprised Nintendo is considering a donkey Kong expansion even though he hasn’t had a game starring himself in years that isn’t a port
I’m surprised universal isn’t using more Nintendo IPs in this theme park
I really wish they'd install a monorail or gondola type transport to connect to their original campus. I think it's important to unify all the parks with good transportation.
I feel like within the next two decades, that entire area of Orlando is going to be Universal owned and they’ll eventually make sure everything is connected in multiple ways
It's going to have its own dedicated bus lane for most of the four mile journey from North Campus, if you look at the new bus loop at City Walk now it will give you an idea of exactly how many buses they plan to run between the two campuses.bi don't think anyone will be waiting more than 10 mins for a bus between parks
subway
Yes
@@Tommyhawkins Yes, but the ride could get long, even if the wait isn't. When I was last there, the ride to the Endless Summer resorts could get tedious.
Remember, they are actually trying to outdo Disney now.
I love the way that you're able to synthesize all of the new info that's come out, makes it really easy to keep track of progress
What are the odds Epic Universe opens before Tron? Can’t wait the DK Mine coaster
Agree on all counts 👍🏻
lmao imagine
it’s amazing to me how fast they are moving with this i think this park will be done within 2024 if they keep this pace up
Secretly hoping that 2025 is just their safety deadline and they’ll surprise us 🥺
They will still take a considerable amount of time to build the interiors and test all the ride vehicles.
They still have lots to do before having it being an operating theme park. I'm hoping they take their meticuluous time with the detailed theming.
@@StrawberryChaiLatte Well it seems like summer 2025 is at the latest so
If they learned from their 1990 opening, they will take their sweet time instead of rushing.
Bioreconstruct is doing God's work providing such amazing glimpses from his helicopter...truly the peak of DisTwitter. If I had a dungeon for my opponents in my home, I'd theme it to the Melty Molten Galaxy level from Super Mario Galaxy
Bob you need to stay off the internet and stay in your lane. At this rate with disney stock tumbling and lackluster box office bomb of Lightyear you may need help with your resume soon.
@@JAYPEEK1606 😂😂👍
More like Boob Cheapek
Hi Bob, can you bring back the Great Movie Ride?
I know when it’s all done I’ll walk into all these lands and be blown away. Universal does it right 🔥
Nah you’ll walk into a park filled with rides that have nothing but screens and 3D glasses.
@@kennyc201 oh god I hope not, that’s so lazy if they do that
@@kennyc201 that's only universals studios. Go to Universal islands of adventure. The coaster are great and is my personal favorite theme park
i find all the 4 lands to be super exciting and interesting. i love harry potter, i love that they revive the classic monsters, i am thrilled for nintendo world and i love that they give how to train your dragon a whole land with multiple rides. those are so much more fun and cute and exciting as those pesci minions.
although i am getting older and older i am super stoked for the new park. i guess i will be riding rollercoasters til the day i die!!
I will be getting into my 50's when this park opens!!! I can't wait to enjoy this park🤠 I just spent a week at the other 2 parks a couple of months ago.😎
@@boudica5883 if only i lived in orlando, that would be a dream. i envy the people who can go to universal and disney etc. whenever they want.
my last visit was dec 2017 and i craaaaveeee another "fix" lol
In our 70's...still riding every coaster in Orlando. You only live once...enjoy the ride ;)
@@opchick0597 i rode velocicoaster with a 73 year old woman the first time i rode it. was amazing to see.
The only thing that I don’t like about the plans is that Epic Universe is doing a parking lot vs a parking garage like at Universal Orlando Resort. Parking Garages are better with space & cars don’t over heat
And you can safely get to your car during an extremely common Florida thunderstorm! And even if there’s no lightning, at least you’ll get to your car without being soaking wet. Although, having a tram ride back to your car after a long day of walking is nice too.
The way I see it, the purpose of a parking lot is to reserve space for more theme park. It will be turned into a parking garage someday, when the park expands.
@@electronics-girl that is a really good point
I can't wait to see what the construction looks like 6-12 months from now, right now things are moving fast and we're starting to see it take shape with some of the base elements being put in place but I imagine 6-12 months from now we'll really see some solid progress.
The amount of smiling I am doing while watching this shows my excitement. I am ECSTATIC at the progress this park is making and cannot wait for opening day!
Universal is going to complete an entire park in less time than Disney is taking to build Tron. 🙄 I just want the Disney railroad back dang it!
Literally my exact thoughts watching this. And Tron isn’t even a new concept! It’s crazy.
Lol I was just about to say “and meanwhile tron has a roof”😂😂😂😂
Loving these updates, can’t wait for this park to open! Thank you for the info Alicia 👍
I'm looking forward to the new DK Mine Coaster based on the DK Country series!
Epic Universe is gonna be Epic!
Disney could NEVER be this fast with construction like Universal. Look at Tron. It's been 5 years since it has been announced, ground work started in February 2018 and it's just about to be done in late 2022 or early 2023. It looks like Epic Universe will open on time or even earlier than expected!!
i was just thinking this. as much as i like disney they have been dropping the ball with everything lately, i hope universal gets the attention it rightfully deserves! im so excited!
I saw your comment and looked it up. It's been almost five years since Disney announced Tron 7-15-2017 and they started clearing land February of 2018. 🤦🏻♀️ It makes no sense. Lol Especially since it's a repeat attraction.
@@MichelleS2892 5 years??!? Damn. This is because Disney likes announcing stuff to create hype without any work done but it quickly dies down and it ends up not working for them in the long run
Obviously covid played a major role in how long it has taken with the closures and then strict reopening procedures, but it definitely feels like it’s more than that at this point. This isn’t even a new concept. Tron already exists at another disney park so I really don’t get what’s taking so long at this point.
@@cc1526 Covid definitely screwed a lot of things up, but it also delayed the hell outta epic universe and are still managing to get stuff done this quickly, honestly though Disney has been making questionable moves even before Covid so idk what to think anymore 😅
Wow, this project is actually happening and fast 👍
These videos feel generous and complete. Thank you!
They should call the dueling coaster universal’s Epic coaster since it’s a theme for the hub
These videos get me hyped, thanks for your great content and hard work!
im so excited, they are making amazing progess! thank you for these super awesome update videos :D
Thank you for such an amazing update, utilizing bio and Tommy update overlays is genius and really helps us to envisage how things are coming together, well done!looking forward to more updates as the park progresses 😊
It looks good
Edit: wait track layouts this is super amazing
Yes! I live for these up dates! 😁
Spinning coaster? Aw... I still wanted a swamp thing Jaws like boat ride.
Phase 2!
That could still come. That's what the expansion within the monsters land was orginallly for. The spinning coaster might be replacing a show, not another ride
Great video! Love the overlays & detail!
These updates are brilliant, keep up the great work Alicia 😊
Alicia is the Nostradamus of Theme Park Design!! It's amazing to see a vast majority of those predictions from 2019 turning out to be true, and I bet this park will be a delight. Absolutely love those Tommy Hawkins 3D-esque overlays of the blueprints - excellent add for these progress videos.
Thank you so much for these updates!
This was an awesome video. Thank you!
Very informative. Thanks! 😊
This is very exciting to see track go up already! Thank you all for bringing us all this great info & footage!
I'm so excited!
And I just can't hide it!
Wow, great update. Can't wait!
Great video!! 👍🏽😀🕺🏽
I'm enjoying all these updates. ☺💗
I am so excited to see this park open!
Looks amazing!! Great video!!
Another great video! Thank you ♥️🥳
so considering the track type, it looks like its gonna be a Gerstlauer or Mack (or an old Intamin removed from another park), that jumping illusion coaster concept is dope
Fantastic update. So interesting to see this being made right before my eyes.
I'm so happy that universal is making progress for epic universe and if rumors are true about wizarding world ride then it will be universal own version of Tower of terror guys! 😊👍
Thanks for the video and info. 👍🏾
I’m SOOOOOO excited to set foot in this park!!! 🤩🤩🤩
I love that you mention the extended Kirkman road in literally every video.
How can I not?! It has dedicated bus lanes! (In all seriousness though, the park can’t open till that’s finished, so it is VERY important!)
She said monsters. So here I am.
She said "You're a monster Ian" i think
I hope they give a node to the original dueling dragons at island of adventure. That was a loved ride and any dueling coaster will be compared to it.
Love you mom!
Best news channel around 👏 🙌 😀
It's kind of a stretch for an idea, but going by the red/orange and blue colour schemes, I'd love for the giant duelling coasters to be a successor to Islands of Adventures' old _Dueling Dragons_ (or _Dragon Challenge,_ later on) ride that sadly got destroyed. Almost like the Fire and Ice Dragons reawakening (after being sealed away with the intention of all time, but eventually breaking free) and continuing their long-standing battle in the new generation!
a love your channel every time a video ends I just can't wait for the next
thank you for liking. this was my first comment
I can't wait to see the progress 6 months from now!
They should bring back old rides like jaws
I’m so hype for this park!
I’m so Excited for this Theme Park
I don't think I could be more excited about this project. As for the coasters, I'm most excited for the dueling coaster. It's been too long since we've had one.
This song instantly lifts my mood, thanks a lot!
Holy crap. Track already on property?!? Gah damn where has time gone
My excitement of coasters:
4) Universal Monsters Spinning Coaster
3) Donkey Kong Coaster
2) Space Hub Dueling Coaster
1) How to Train your Dragon Coaster
While definitely not the most impressive thing, I am mildly interested in the carousel in the middle of the theme park, from what I've been seeing it's not just any regular carousel, also it's one of the main attractions of the hub area so they would have to make it unique, otherwise it wouldn't really be reasonable to place it there
Can’t wait for that in-park hotel!!
You guys are doing so great keeping us updated on this. The hard work doesn't go unnoticed! Great job!
Thank you!
Can’t wait till this opens. I’m going to plan a trip to hit all universal parks and I want to stay at cabana bay.
I’m hoping they build another premier hotel
Wow, I am so amazed, the boom coaster track is layed out and installed, I can't wait for 2 years to end so it can be open
Correct me if I’m wrong…this is the first major park to be built in the USA since Disney California Adventure (well, except for HardRock Park, which sadly and shockingly crashed and burned so prematurely…)…This is almost too exciting to be watching! I used to follow the occasional details that Disney would release to the OrangeCounty Register when DCA was being built so Very long ago….It’s nice to have so much more material available, thanks to you and BioReconstruct!
Yep! Other than water parks, this is the biggest new theme park to be built in the age of social media! Exciting times indeed.
I hope they do like both other parks did and offer Fl. buy one year and get two way before available to the general public and way before the park is complete. Very cool to go every week and see the building and painting change, ride testing is very cool as well.
Are there any updates on the potential Black Lagoon boat ride or was that idea scrapped for the Wolfcoaster?
That is still planned as far as I know, but will not begin construction until the rest of the park is finished. What we believe will be a Creature from the Black Lagoon ride is listed as phase 2 in the permits.
I am most looking forward to the mack dueling coaster
SO excited that there will be a HTTYD area! Honestly with all of the new decisions Universal is making and with how Disney is just milking money out of it's guests, Universal is starting to look more and more appealing as a reason to visit instead of Disney
IM GETTING EVEN MORE EXITED
I'm kinda interested with the "How to Train Your Dragon" dueling coaster that Universal is building for "Universal Epic". I distinctly remember for when they opened "Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge" in IOA, riders were throwing things at the other riders in the opposite riding cars which led to Universal to operating one car at a time. I remember hearing comments of people complaining that they wished Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge was operating like it was intended as a dueling coaster. It was a great ride and it kinda saddened me when that one closed for Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure"
So my question is, "How does Universal think that history isn't going to repeat itself with this new coaster when they already know of the reality that this could happen again and cause them to decide to close what could be a potentially good ride later on?"
Very cool
I'm betting Universal will name the dueling coaster "Multiverse," "Reality Duality," or something along those lines being as it's not connected to a land per se but can play off of how alternate realities are kinda trendy right now.
they could name it The Intermundium Coaster, iirc Indermundium means 'Space Between Worlds"
Nintendo World: not just a themed land in an amusement park, bit an entire theme park on its own!
Here's how its lands should be divided:
* Mario (subdivided into the main Super Mario series, Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Mario Sports)
* Pokemon
*Wii (similar to ESPN's Wide World of Sports at Disney World, it would have pavilions dedicated to the activities found in Wii Sports and Wii Fit)
* The Legend of Zelda
* Animal Crossing
* Super Smash Bros. (The centerpiece attraction)
* Donkey Kong
* Kirby
* a game show based on Brain Age
* Nintendogs (this wouldn't be part of the actual park, but a facility at the resort that serves as a luxury kennel)
I hope I get to work here
I really hope that roller coaster in Monsters is themed to Wolf Man! He's perfect for a coaster. Who knows, maybe down the road after they add the Creature From the Black Lagoon boat ride, they will add another coaster, this one a flying coaster themed to Dracula! 🧛♂️🦇
here's what I need to see at the opening of the Classic Monsters land:
1) Ricou Browning is the Guest of Honor for the Grand Opening; he played the Gill-Man in all three Creature from the Black Lagoon movies (the swimming sequences, anyway); he's also the last living actor to have played one of the Classic Monsters
2) a larger than life statue dedicated to Lon Chaney, Jr.; not as any character, but the man himself. He was in 10 UCM movies, more than any other actor -- five as Larry Talbot, the Wolf Man; once as Frankenstein's Monster; three times as Kharis, the Mummy; and once as Count Dracula (technically his son, but the title was passed down). He's the only actor to have played all of the "Big Four" monsters
3) a smaller statue dedicated to Dwight Frye, to serve as a tribute to the various character actors who played supporting roles across multiple movies; he's most famous as Renfield in "Dracula" and Fritz in "Frankenstein", but he also had an uncredited role as a reporter in "The Invisible Man", and bit parts in four of the Frankenstein sequels (two of which were just uncredited villagers)
4) Franchises and characters that need to be represented:
Dracula -- Count Dracula (both Bela Lugosi and John Carradine), Professor van Helsing;
Frankenstein -- The Monster (both Boris Karloff and Glenn Strange), Henry Frankenstein, Ygor;
The Mummy -- Kharis, Andoheb (Egyptian mystic turned High Priest of Karnak/Arkam and Kharis' handler), Stephen Banning & Babe Jenson (twice defeated Kharis & Andoheb);
The Invisible Man -- Geoffrey Radcliffe (I know that Jack Griffin/Claude Rains was the original, but Vincent Price just has a much more recognizable voice);
The Wolfman --Larry Talbot, Maleva the gypsy woman;
The Creature from the Black Lagoon -- the Gill-Man, Captain Lucas.
5) even though he was overshadowed by Talbot, some recognition should go to Dr. Wilfred Glendon from "Werewolf of London"
6) If the Phantom of the Opera makes an appearance, it should alternate between Lon Chaney, Sr.'s silent black & white version and Claude Rains' talking technicolor version (which was the only UCM film to win any Academy Awards)
Cool
A Forbidden Journey style ride would be AMAZING for Monsters Inc!! 🤩
give credit to the producer and editor of this video. So much work involve in the research!!!
I do all the editing (Alicia,) but I have help with research from Tommy, Scott, Tim, Ian, plus folks on the Inside Universal forums, who also keep up with all the goings ons! And if it weren’t for our Patrons, we wouldn’t have been afforded the time to make it all possible! It definitely takes a village.
@@ThemeParkStop do you have any rumors or hints Disney is thinking about opening a new theme park. Epic Universe is going to disrupt how vacationers spend their time in orlando. More days in Universal than disney.
Wohoo 🥳.
I am excited for this park, can only imagine there is going to be SO many kinks to work out when this park opens, not to mention the ungodly crowds.
I’m shocked they haven’t thought of using the flight of passage tech and basically doing a broomstick ride. Seems like the logical ride for potter. I just hope universal does more family friendly rides to make it more like Disney and less like six flags type coasters.
@5:05 Mack also made a delivery to Universal City…?? As in the Hollywood location?? Wonder if that Fast & Furious coaster was more than just a rumour…?!
i can't waitttt!! 😍
There's gonna be a dueling coaster??? THAT'S GONNA BE SO COOL!!
There's the epic music again!
The dueling coaster is such a great thing to reinstall what a brilliant hats off to duelling dragons. Pity they can't do and upgraded jaws ride.
Always love an update from TPS!! Do we still think that the central hub will be an open to the public area and the individual lands will require the park reservations? That was a theory gloated a while ago that I haven’t heard much about recently.
I honestly do not know. I think some element of the design of the hub will still be utilized, but not so sure it will just allow anyone in. Instead maybe they will close the individual lands earlier and leave the hub open later, so you can dine and shop after the rides close. That would be a way to utilize the unique layout without making the hub free. And who knows, maybe the hub is free after 6 or something. We’ll just have to wait and see.
@@ThemeParkStop awesome! Definitely something to keep an eye on. I’m honestly hoping they don’t do something like that and just keep a main gate at the front of the park. Keep it simple and don’t venture into park reservations and boarding group territory with specific land passes or anything like that.
What park res?!?
@@tomm2213 it was a rumor a long time ago that they were going to have the central hub act as an open to the public “City Walk” type area and the smaller lands would require purchased tickets and potentially reservations. This was a VERY long time ago though. Like 2019 maybe so I think it’s probably not really a thing anymore, if it ever was. At lease I hope not.
For the Dueling Coasters in the Central Hub, I think that they should theme it to Sonic vs Knuckles given how well received the first two movies have been (provided of course they obtain the rights from Sega) unless of course their contract with Nintendo forbids that
Why on Earth would Sega do that?
Nice informative video ! Thanks !
Muck rides or Mack rides ??
Pronounced Mach, as it is a German company.
@@ThemeParkStop ok got it , when we got steel taipan at Dreamworld I was made familiar with the name never knew nor heard this way of saying , cheers …keep up the great work
wow I can't believe it
It would be so cool if they created an underground tunnel from universal studios to epic that looks like the upside down from stranger things
I Hope that over in Super Nintendo World, they'll have something to do with Pokémon, Like Its own Pokémon Lab, where kids could pick out their first Pokémon from any region, a Pokémon Center, Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Restaurants, Pokémon Rides, and Pokémon Meet and Greets, Kids could meet, Mewtwo, Lucario, Scorbunny, etc. etc.
I think that the Donkey Kong mine cart coaster will probably be manufactured by Intamin
This video is 11:11 long. I approve. 👍🏻
Very cool, although wish How to Train Your Dragon was Minions, Pets, or Sing themed instead.
So is there any price estimates for tickets yet??
How was this space available in middle of orlando
Gosh, are the other two parks going to be empty? This place sounds like it's going to be amazing.
If Disney doesn't get moving, they'll have no chance to keep up with this. Soo excited for 2025
There is a nice sewage treatment plant right next to this place, curious (unless they moved it/updated it) how they are going to deal with the horrid smell that always filled the surrounding area when I drove by on Sand Lake Road
Plenty of options for that
