The idea is that the seat & column go all the way to the farthest position so you can enter & exit easily. The Uniroyal is a great tire. I have them on my '07' and never have a problem with the wet/dry. The phone button was for a mobile phone, outdated now, but you can use it to mute the road. Keep the traction control on, Jaguar knows what they're doing. Join a Jaguar Forum for more info. Enjoy the ride you have a fantastic car.
Yea I don't really drive it anymore. Her Dad decided to keep it instead of giving it to her. So I have a WRX now and never lose traction no matter if traction control is on or off, lol.
@@retailtherapysession8885 Was in the McDonald's drive-through the other day when the kid at the register said, "Hey what car is that?" I told him and he said, "Nice!"
Like I said.... this was sort of a deal of the century if you like Jaguar. I myself would have purchased this car, but I then would have sold it to the right person for more money after making sure everything is up to mint standards. I would put new tires on it to be honest.... the highway ride is not 100% smooth like it should be. Not sure why exactly....
Depends how much you pay for it. I bought a 2005 3.0 V6 S type in January of this year. It had 34,000 miles on the clock and I paid the equivalent of $5,000 for it. It's an absolute bargain. The V6 engine is sweet and reliable and 240 BHP is fine for me. Easy to drive round town and comfortable on the motorways. I can cruise at 75 mph and the engine is barel ticking over. So yes - as long as you don't pay too much.
When I drove it months ago...as of this video it was pretty good. I just thought it needed tires and perhaps some bushings because initially this car should ride like butter on the highway. Now it rides a tad rough because alot of highway miles have been put on it..... so.... that's the update. Since the Dad basically turned it from a garage kept car to a daily....it's not so flawless anymore.
Not sure..... It felt fine just not perfectly smooth like a 27K car should be, that's all. It felt more tire related than actual suspension, like when tires get hard over time. I won't ever find out though because it's not my car, lol.
Yea, I've driven these when they were brand new. It's like a better handling Caddy. Not too floaty but Sporty as well. The tires are top of the line TigerPaws Z rated tires but the rubber feels VERY hard to me.
I guarantee u its not a rollback i work on these it costs more than its worth to get a computer that needs an engineer at 150$ an hour to reprogram this car to rollback
JagSTR Guy so I am looking for a type R now too. Do you have any advice on best years or models? Or is the R only for the 4door sedans like in the video above?
Sean T I dont know much about the STR ive only owned the car for a little over a year but here im the U.S, you can find the S Type R from 6 to 8k... Go to my page an check out my vid of how much i paid... The year of the car is really on you preference. The 03-04 STR styling change a bit in the rear of the 05-08 witch im not a fan of, its more bubble. But check out my vids
I found the car on autotrader while looking for used cars for my GF. Originally her parents were going to get her an old Lexus but I found this Jaguar for such a good deal and low miles that her Dad bought it as soon as he saw it. Since this video they liked the Jag so much her Dad has since sort of taken the car as his own instead and she barely gets to drive it. Once again she basically got his hand me down :( His 2013 Sonata... It also has low miles and drives perfectly fine but it never was a very expensive car even new... I think around 22K or something. He's basically turning the nice Jag into a work/errand car instead of keeping it a very low mile car which I think is stupid but he bought it so I have no say in the matter...
@@mrmaarten5133 I'm not sure who did the remix on this particular track but the original track is by Hans Zimmer - Rain Man . There are countless remixes of this so that's probably why Shazam failed.
@@mrmaarten5133 The reason it's so good is that it's not really a remix... it's more of a take on it but different and I actually like it better than the Zimmer version but he never finished the entire song it was just a short sample.
S Type one of a sexiest timeless Cars ever
hahahaha
I am going to get one and fix it up as a project and I’m hoping for it to turn out well

I didn't hear what engine. How can you know it's a great deal when you don't state the engine? Is it the 3.0 or the 4.2 V8?

Bought a 2003 the other day that had only 46,000 miles.
John Barnes Lucky!! I’m jealous 😂

alphazoom II probably needs a suspension overhaul or upgrade.....they look so good and way more expensive than they are

alphazoom II must be tyres because in Europe the rise is rated as superb

How is the suspension on this car ? European hard or nice and comfortable ?
Rides good. Comfy.

Wait until you have to replace the lower control arms! Lmao
You usually turn off the traction control... why? What a fucking stupid thing to while driving around normally.

No, Rover. I don't remember models on top of my head.
But I believe Rover 75 had superb audio setup
