I have changed my mind this guy is the perfect fit for us after hearing from the Roma fans . He has turned them from 600mil in debt to no debt they have gone from empty stadiums to sold out 57 games in a row signing great commercial deals getting Mourinho and then having the balls to sack him then bring in legend Di Rossi. Signing great free transfers and loans and winning Conference league and getting to the final of Europa league. And most importantly he’s extremely engaging with the Roma fans

Only issue is we won’t be able to compete in the same tournaments as them, although it’s unlikely we will be qualifying for Europe anytime soon.

@@Maxpefc8 think it’s the opposite mate united and someone else (can’t remember who Chelsea maybe?) were told they can play in the same competitions as their sister clubs in the mean time until 2026/27 but then they are tightening the rules to stop it completely from what I understand.
Hopefully all the players get a reality check when he comes in if you dont want to play for the badge then leave players who havent signed contracts get rid and stary to freshen up the squad now is the time lets give goodison park a goodbye to remember

He’s already told Roma they will be apparently. Also we won’t be allowed to compete in the same tournaments as them so Everton will be secondary project for now.

We saw signs of him getting back to his best at the end of the season, but he went about 20 odd games without scoring and that is no good. Unless we can replace him with a 25 goals plus a season striker (unlikely, unless the new owner wants to dig deep in his pockets), then we should hold on to him.
It would be better to play 4-4-2 (especially at home) and give him a proper striker to play off (not Doucoure who isn't one), we might get a lot more out of him then. I'd be really annoyed if he turns into a "25 goals a season" striker after he leaves!! 🤔😬

Friedkin is a "pauper" in the world of football owners (in relative terms), he's not worth much more than Moshiri (who is worth a damn sight less thanks to his own financial mismanagement), and he owns Roma as well , so will Everton be playing "second fiddle" to them? I really hope not!! 🤔😬

Newcastle are multiples richer than any other club in world football and can't spend a bean due to FFP.
The game has changed, we need debt lowering, commercial revenue increasing which will happen under Friedkin, he's also far from a pauper 😂
He clearly does know football as he's turning Roma around from a very similar situation to ourselves and more thab anything (what we really need) he's a shrewd and savvy businessman.
I can't see any negatives personally, it'll be a slow burner but once he's in, the grounds finished things will start changing.
