Aaliyah's Best Live Vocals

- updated video compilation of Aaliyah's best live vocals, Aaliyah is a criminally underrated vocalist with her smooth falsettos, soft voice, & immaculate head voice but people mistake her classy way of singing with "whispering" or her not being able sing... when that's not the case at all because if Li really wanted to take it there she could & there are numerous moments in this video that embody that she could charge it to the game and BLOW! Certain individuals love to double down when it comes to that department with Aaliyah... but nonetheless Aaliyah received positive press on her live performances & was praised by other legends & her idols that being Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Etc. hopefully this video will wash their tone deaf ears & allow them to hear the voice of a true songbird & angel, enjoy! /.\ for life! #Aaliyah #AaliyahIsComing

She definitely could sing live. I think she sounded better live.
This is what you call a RnB artist. These new chicks could never!!!! Aaliyah gave a higher octave when she performed Live. Aaliyah came from that era where you wanted to be there !!!!!’
Thank God I was! Aaliyah, Brandy, Monica and Usher became instant icons during this era! Some of the best times in my life! ❤️
AALIYAH could definitely sing!!!!! Name many artists you could sing and dance while transitioning their vocals I'll wait???.... No shade to other artists but not even the great performers of this era could not or should I say we haven't seen it yet ❗❗❗
Michael Jackson and Aaliyah are the only
@@raphaellopez9290Janet Jackson too
Aaliyah was also very athletic and studied martial arts & boxing and liked basketball 🏀 in her teens
Aaliyah is so naturally stunning gifted and unique! Incredible Dancer 💃 Fashion Icon wow! Spirit and Voice of a Angel!
21 years later...still missing Babygirl! This compilation is a great way to honor her. ❤️🕊️
Her 4PL performances are sooo underrated and the Try Again ones the riffs and melismas are insane!!!!
!!!!!
And people got the nerve to say that she couldn't sing.
The AUDACITY
@@exaltedely5001. Exactly, she’s arguably the most versatile vocalist of all time.
They are assholes. I mean Beyonce isn't always perfect. Only unobsessed fans would admit it, but I wouldn't say she can't sing.
The reason she sung so deep live bc so can control her voice while she sing
And control when danced
@@jermoriwhite25 I don’t think that’s the reason why. In my opinion she was just showing what she could do with texture of tone. Even when she hit the falsetto notes you could her the softness and power at the same time.
SUMMER JAM WAS DEFINITELY A GREAT VOCAL VIEW ❤️🖤😎✊🏾🎧🎤🔥🕊🔥🕊🔥R.I.P AALIYAH

Best video out of her live vocals
Thank you!! 🙏🏽 🤍
She mostly sung in her lower register. But live she sung in a deeper tone, and some she sung in the lower soft tone. I wonder how she sound in her upper and belting registers.
When she sung I refuse 😤 ❤❤❤
Aaliyah One In A Million!! 💞💚💖💜💙😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
I love how Aaliyah played a role in discovering some of the hottest and most unique music creatives by simply giving them a bigger platform and sharing the spotlight with them. She gave credit where it was due and not selfishly.
Just so fantastic, and beautiful AALIYAH

à capella at your n'est.
Amazing!
Shakiness is a part of being nervous, even famous performers get nervous, but they still deliver and any person that is not a singer would not know what it feels like to be in that position if you've never sang in front of people. Keep in mind they also have ro sing when they're sick sometimes. Try singing with a cold .it's not easy. Yes she can sing and have a great voice and was always looked at as soft singer. But that was just image. People they have worked with her said she was belting out diaphragm notes in her early pre-teens. She was slowly opening up her vocals to the world bit by bit just like in her Anastasia performance. I think she was singing like thsy to show the story line of shyness before she was like " here I am now"! Lol
Exactly, especially when you mention about the Anastasia performance at the Oscars. People talking about she nervous in the beginning yea she was, but also that’s how she sung the song to tell the story. It just show how people don’t really know nothing about music and singing.
😢🎙🎶
She sounds great when she's not nervous. The Oscars performance was pitchy in the beginning but when she calmed down a bit her vocals at the end were great. The last performance of TOIGMHT in this video wasn't good and shouldn't have been included. Her falsetto sounded good but her mid range was very pitchy.
Wrong!
Do you know what the definition of pitch is? Because that’s not what’s lacking in this video. She had a great ear and a perfect sense of pitch…have rarely ever heard her go flat or sharp.
She wasn’t pitchy at all. She was singing in lower register and falsetto register. And that’s how the song starts off.
17:29 I want the full version, where is this?
THAT SECOND AUDIO CLIP!!! WHERE IS IT FROM?
Time stamp???
@@exaltedely5001 starts at 1:35
@@finesse183 it’s from a radio interview where she covered a bit of no diggity in 1996 I believe, just search ‘Aaliyah No Diggity” on here
@@exaltedely5001 thank u ❤️
@finesse183 That was her singing Heartbroken. I never heard it live, but she sounded incredible in that clip. Her voice was strong but she battled nerves. Her voice was stronger than most people realized -- even herself.
What is the first clip from!?!
It’s from her Choosey Lover performance for NYC underground
@@exaltedely5001 Thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️
waaaaaiiiittttt what the hell was the performance at 1:40!!!
It was from a tour she did during the One In A Million Era the song was Never Coming Back it’s here on CZcams.
She sounds shaky like Rihanna did at the beginning of her career. Rihanna still terrible. But other shaky girls like Brandy have blossomed and developed their vocals. Beyoncé has gotten much better since 98-99 too. I think Aaliyah would have gotten a lot better given the chance too🙏🏾❤️
What were u listening to? Cause i didnt hear that
