Yeah, since she is neither ugly, nor fat. (It's a different story when someone REALLY is ugly or fat, and whether it's even acceptable then to say it... probably not. Some things probably don't need to be said... ). But what I love about this, is that of course it wasn't Kylie's fault that Dannii was being compared to her. That's what people do. I think the two of them have a wonderful bond and a lot of mutual love and respect.

Dannii is such a queen. Her and Kylie's performance at Sydney World Pride was iconic, people were losing their minds in the street watching on the big screens (me included XD). She's an amazing ally to our people and always has been so we will always love her! not to mention she always seems like such a friendly and fun, decent human being. Great video!

I’ve always been a fan of both Minogues. I remember when Dani was the singer and Kylie was acting. When Kylie released Locomotion, the media automatically compared them and they favoured Kylie over Danni. Not at all fair and hearing her tell it, I can imagine it would not have been easy. Kylie already had an audience in the UK through Neighbours, whereas Danni was on Young Talent Time. Very underrated artist.

Neon Nights is one of the stand out albums of my teen years. I live in USA and had no clue who she was I saw the album at a record store and was very intrigued by her name I didn’t know at the time that Kylie had a sister. I took a chance and bought it and I fell in love.

I still have my Dannii poster from G-A-Y when she performed in support of her Hits & Beyond album circa ‘06. I love this woman infinitely! In America before I was able to get to England, I spent an obnoxious amount of money on buying her albums singles. But for the support she’s endlessly given our community; all money well spent. For all her success and triumph Dannii is incredibly down-to-earth, forthright and humble and relatable. She deserves all of her achievements.
It's a testament to their relationship and the strength of their family that the media's toxic comparisons didn't drive a wedge between Dannii and Kylie. There is a video of Kylie in the laste 90's signing Impossible Princess and some 'journalist' had the audacity to ask her if she was talking to Dannii, trying to push that narrative and Kylie STOOD UP, smiled right in his face and gave a class act in ripping someone a new one while never sinking to their level. ''Do you write these questions yourself? Well.. better go back to grammar school!'' or something. LOL DOn't come for the sisters.

I always think Dannii did an amazing job at making herself entirely individual. I remember at the beginning of her career, her music was very American sounding & entirely different from Kylie’s.

Danni was the young star, the darling of Young Talent time for quite awhile untiiiiil Kylie showed up and Danni got pushed aside. Wasn't Kylies fault, it just happened that way. I was around back then attending the Johnny Young talent School where as Danni was on his show. The show ran for many years and once you hit a certain age you were booted off. My experience at the dance school was great and I didn't audition for the show because my family moved but that's pretty much how you were chosen if you were good enough and Danni certainly was!!

I remember watching a clip of Howard Stern (who I know has done a 180 since) interviewing Dannii, and it must've been one of the most uncomfortable interviews I've ever seen. He was saying cringey stuff like that it's turning him on that she's the less successful sister and general gross remarks of that kind . The press were absolutely vile to her simply because of that messed up need to pit women against one another.
I still think that as brilliant as Neon Nights did, it would've done even better if the pointless Kylie comparisons weren't forced to be part of her narrative. It's still such a good album. Also, X-Factor jumped the shark when she left. She was the only judge you could tell was involved with her acts. With her gone, there was nothing to ground the show from the theatrics of the other judges.
Anyway, her cool, confident demeanour remains inspiring.

I love Kylie, but Dannii is a fantastic interviewee, which Kylie really isn’t so much. She says what she thinks. Kylie is a lot more guarded, probably for good reason. Great to see them both finding their own paths and being successful at it with a great family dynamic around them.

All I remember is Kylie being called the second best famous sister . The one who became famous by accident and unfairly and that Danni could sing and Kylie could not . Dannii was the cool sister .
