What Nokta seems to be doing here with the “Score" series of detectors is creating more model options that point the consumer in the direction of a different model vs. adding the variable features and expanded settings via a software upgrade as we have seen with the Legend. There is atill a gap of features and settings bethwwen the Legend and the Triple Score, but maybe we’ll see a “Grand Slam Score” next from Nokta closing that gap even more?
I’ve already seen some early Score buyers feeling miffed over this approach by Nokta. Of course, Nokta isn’t standing alone here, Minelab has done the same thing with the Equinox series and now signs in their X-Terra Elite models.
I’ll argue that more choices with increased features at prices that are VERY competetive esulting in some bargains for what you get (Simulataneous Multi-Frequency Metal Detectors) at prices that were recently encompassing "Non-Simulataneous multi-frequency” & “Single Frequency" detectors.
Seriously, it’ a great time to be a buyer, unless of course you purchased a detector right before this current flurry of new models.

@@HistoryRevisiteduk I’m actually thankful for these “Detector Wars” as it is benefitting all of us as consumers. I just added the Minelab Xterra Elite Expedition Pack (includes both V12X & V8X coils, and the ML85 Wireless headphones similar to the Triple Score Pack) to my collection of detectors. And despite a few additional settings options found in the Equinox 700/900, I find the Xterra Elite as capable of both. Which is of no surprise, really. After all, it’s a shared platform with the Equinox 700/900, and honestly more than enough of a machine for all levels of users really need for 95% of metal detecting. And the coils are interchangable with the Equinox series as well. Just a fabulous value right now! Nokta and Minelab are really on fire right now!

I went over to the nokta site and did look true the manual for the triple score it's the double score manual so they still need to upgrade it and I'm waiting patiently till mine arrives hopefully with a proper manual
but at first glance in the video I already know how it works double score and ultra in the mix like they had a baby 👍🏻

A lot more customisation on the legend with the tone breaks pitches and volumes

I can't understand why they're coming out with all the score models I first though of getting the double score as a backup to my legend but I think I'll hold off awhile.
As for the legend with all the updates it'd had I really don't see where they can do any improvements it's pretty much loaded, I'm thinking in the future they'll be coming out with something above the legend to compete with the D2 and the Manticore but that's just my thoughts who knows what these companies will do.
