I knew Riley before he started playing underground shows in Fort Worth. He dated my best friend at the time. RIP sweet boy
I just discovered these guys just a few months ago while being at home during this stupid pandemic and when I heard Power Trip, I finally said here’s a new Thrash band that I can get behind and now Riley is dead! What a tragic thing to happen. I just hope these guys continue to carry on because they’re just too damn good to quit playing music! What I love about Power Trip the most is the slight Cromags undertones they throw into their riffs and vocals. I was never a diehard Hardcore Punk fan but I absolutely loved the Cromags! I wish Riley’s family the best and I hope the band is coping with their lost band member and brother!💪🏻🤘🏻
This saddens me greatly. I discovered them RIGHT BEFORE typing this and just commented how I’ll be off to hear the rest of the album. These guys are skilled, and I wish them the best after that tragedy.

That breakdown at 2:30 is simply one of the best ones I've ever heard, ever.
First time I heard it I was out driving. I had to stop, find the breakdown again then blast the living hell out of my car stereo. Pure bliss and goosebumps all the way.

i remember september 89. i was 14. Got the beneath the remains record from England to norway import. First song title track just blew my mind. Then inner self. i just stood in my room headbanging. My mother screaming.Can you turn that shit down. No way i told her. I locked the door. I get the same vibe from this song. Now i'm 42. got my own place. just crank up the volume. I'm 14 again. But now it's the fucking neighbour complaining.
I've worked real hard, with success, and have my own place with no nearby neighbors to complain. Now just have wife and kids who could complain, but know better.

I found overkill's new album a bit less good tham usual (but still awesome)
Descecrator released a kick-ass album

Damn! Power Trip is such an amazingly Badass band that I hope they continue despite Riley Gale’s death. I know that sometimes it’s difficult for bands to continue when they lose a band member who’s such an integral part of the band, they’re contribution to the music and overall sound. I’m extremely saddened by Gale’s death but as a massive fan, I hope they find someone who fits and that they continue to make kickass Thrash Metal!🤘🏻
