Houston Astros Undercover at Academy Sports + Outdoors

Academy Sports + Outdoors teamed up with first baseman Tyler White, Centerfielder Jake Marisnick and Broadcaster Geoff Blum of the Houston Astros on a hidden-camera event held recently at an Academy store in the Houston area. White and Marisnick donned the blue Academy shirt and hit the floor to help customers, while Blum gave the duo different commands as he watched on closed-circuit TV in a back room at the store. What happened next was caught on hidden camera.

was just in your Academy Sports store in Cartersville, Georgia. I called to verify that they had a certain gun in stock. I drove here from Rome, Georgia to purchase the gun that I have been wanting to buy for some time. The man that was supposed to help me did not show any intentions of helping me. He was lazy, unfriendly and acted unprofessional. He would be better at pushing carts or cleaning bathrooms. Any job that doesn't require working with customers.The man's name was Dalton. I tried to talk to a couple other so called managers but they didn't help either. I will never come back to this store again.
