Great video! There are two of these nested atop our State office building here in Pennsylvania. They're amazing to watch in their everyday lives, even when they're just lounging around. Very interesting creatures indeed.

The hoods make sure the falcon doesn't fly away. When the hood is on her she stays still and doesnt move. Like what wild Peregrines do at night, so they dont get attacked.
I watched a program the other year when this filmcrew looked around an old peregrine nest. Among the bones of its victims was an African Grey parrots beak! Someones missing an expensive pet lol.

Hold on... were you planning to _buy_ one? I'm no expert, but a Peregrine Falcon is not really domesticated unlike some parrots, owning a falcon of any kind is illegal
Fasted bird _on air_ if I remember correctly, on land it's the cheetah, while on the water it's the sail fish I could be wrong, but this all what I have in my brain XD

It is the fastest animal yes. They go up to 240 mph, 390 km/h on their dives. For reference, Cheetahs, the 2nd fastest animal, can go up to 130 km/h
