    Looking like Michael Jackson ten years before Michael did, lol. They were working with a fashion Stylist (forgot her name) , but of course Freddie had a degree in Design and fashion drawing. And they were SO HANDSOME!

    Thank you for taking my request. This song amazed me the first time I heard it because of Freddie's elocution...he could sing so fast yet every word was clear and precise. And he never "just sang"...he performed every song. You were correct commenting about Brian's "angel wings" outfit. Freddie had one that Zandra Rhodes also designed...it looked like he could take flight any minute!

    Yup I love 70's era Queen when they all had long hair.
    Btw coincidentally MJ were good friends with Queen. Whenever Queen toured the states and were in the LA area, MJ will make it a point to see 'em perform live.

    This is the closest you can get Freddie to Rapping. Funny that you mention Metallica and Michael Jackson to his outfit. Metallica was inspired by Queen and they even have a Cover of this Song. And Michael of Course also was inspired by Freddie in MANY Ways. And yes Michael got the idea for his Glove from the one Glove Freddie was wearing here. Yes Brian looks kinda like an angel. In the beginning of the Show Freddie was also wearing a similar thing that Brian wore there but they often change Clothes Live. They had that theme with Black and White. Because of their Album Queen II (White side had White Queen on it and the Black side had The March of The Black Queen on it) So they really used their Brains.

      @ben1ben Před 4 lety +2

      @@garytate7493 *_I know._* I never said he started to wear one because Freddie Mercury was wearing one??! 😑 *THE DESIGN FOR IT* Was inspired by Micky Mouses Gloves and by the one handed Glove Freddie was wearing, if you just look up a picture of the Glove, you can see how he ''combined'' Micky Mouses and Freddie's glove which then had the design of his own famous Glove by just combining these other 2 Gloves. Also it is called Vitiligo and not vitaligo.

    FYI: If you view the finale of this particular concert at the Rainbow you will see Roger totally trash his drumkit. He warned John who ran off the stage but no warning to Freddie who was almost hit by a drum or to Brian who continued to smile and thank the audience throughout. Funny stuff. Roger was more volatile in those days. If you want to react to it or watch it on your own here it is: Queen - Closing Medley (Live at the Rainbow Theatre, London)(1974) - czcams.com/video/aczXaCWP3rM/video.html

    I don’t know about John (correct me if I’m wrong) but Brian, Roger, and Freddie has been members of other bands before Queen existed. And knowing that they are group of perfectionist, no wonder they are already good musicians as a group in their early days (plus they’ve been friends before they became a band). Many even say that their songs from their first album are already a good set of rock songs compared to other band’s first albums. (It’s also a plus for all of them having diplomas or degrees before becoming Queen) 😊

      **Zenobia** Wow, thanks for another queen info. Most of the things I know about Queen came from you guys here on YT. I’ve been in a Queen reaction spree for weeks ever since I saw snippets of live aid from their movie. The more I dig with their live performances and songs the more I became slightly obsessed with their musicality. Now I have more favorite songs from them which the numbers are unusual. The first song I knew from them was BoRap since kindergarten, my first favorite song from them is “I Want to Break Free” since high school (I first heard it from a variety show) and all my life before this year, I’ve been having last song syndrome on “Love of My Life” never knowing it was from the same band. 😅 I’ve heard their name all my life but it’s just only now, because of quarantine that gave me the opportunity to check them out and discover them (and now I’m stuck with pleasure😅)
      BTW thanks for the replies and sorry for the long message, It’s my first time communicating with Queen fans and just love sharing my Queen experience to people who enjoys listening to them. I hope you don’t mind. Hehe..Have a great day. ☺️

    This was on the Same album as Killer Queen and Killer Queen was a completely different song. If you listen to any of the music from Queens first two or three albums they are really rock and very early forms of where heavy metal came from. As a matter of fact Metallica did a remake of this very song with Queen's permission in the late 1990s!!
