I got my grandad to play a game in virtual really (he’s been living with me for a couple years since Nan passed) and he really enjoyed it, it was so wholesome to watch him play gorn
I have traditional Catholic Irish grandparents and I feel pigs would fly before they would play Gorn. Though it's funny to imagine.

It only takes a couple generations after a cataclysm to set society back centuries. Our modern society is very fragile, and demands constant attention from thousands of PhD level professionals of various disciplines to keep it going.
The Internet alone requires not only massive networking data centers, but also an small electrical plant to power it, and a large HVAC team to control the temperatures. And also a team of aerospace engineers to manage the satellites.

So my school had this thing where they use VR but it doesn’t run any games, it just puts u to this thing where there’s a lot of different jobs and you get to decide which you want to experience, I tried it and be is amazing, even tho our schools VR aren’t that great it’s still amazing they manage to get a couple of them and made this.
It really is a incredible experience my first vr experience was in may when I bought a quest, I love it...

You might notice they aren't that shocked or terrified. Remember they have experienced all the horror that life can throw at you. They raised children. I speak from experience.
