I’m Not just saying it But Don’t you Think That Sheffield Wednesday have the Best Fans in English Football because I don’t think it’s even close as SWFC & Hillsborough stadium is on another level
Best comeback ever in play off history from 4-0 down to get it to 4-4 aggregate to losing 5-4 on aggregate to get another goal and win on penalties. And then scoring a 123rd minute winner at Wembley. Sheffield Wednesday are actually mental. Kudos to them and us and Barnsley will meet again!

Just want to say as a Wednesday fan I’m of course delighted to go up, what an incredible day. Commiserations to Barnsley who have been fantastic all season. I won’t miss much about league one, but I will miss the amount of quality content creators like yourself, Jack and others. All the best next season to Pompey and Oxford, I’ll be rooting for you!

Mentally I'm absolutely drained.
Blowing that huge advantage in April to end up in the play offs still on a points total that would most seasons win the title let alone automatics, then the trauma agony and ecstasy of the play-offs! Unbelievably after nearly 6 hours plus penalties in the play offs we were only ahead for4 seconds! But what a way to win it!
That's football, that's Wednesday. Will there ever be another season like it? Somehow I doubt it!

Absolutely loving it, fully deserved we end up getting promoted after finishing 3rd on a record breaking 96 points... but we didn't make it easy for ourselves, hence The Wednesday Way memes... but last week's come back v Posh and now holding out again in the final and getting it across the line... absolutely mental!
And fair play to Barnsley - if they keep this up next season they will storm League One.
As a wednesday fan, iv got to say, this is the best CZcams vlogger in league one, no disrespect to the others, knowledgeable and well spoke, it helps that I have a soft spot for Portsmouth due to family living there, routing for you lot to go up next season & keep smashing the Channel

Hi Tom, good to see you doing something different and I'm pleased you got to see a great play off final at Wembley. I think over the course of the season and considering the season that Wednesday had they deserve this big moment. Against Peterbrough they looked down and out being 4-0 down from the first leg but to get it back to 4-4 on aggregate and then win on penalties was astronomical. It has to go down as one of the biggest comebacks in the history of the playoffs. Good luck to them and i wish them well in the championship next season. Commiserations to Barnsley though, they also played their part in a great but very tense playoff final and theyll be gutted to lose it in the final moments but I'm sure they will bounce back and will be up there challenging for promotion again next season. Hopefully it will be us celebrating promotion next season. It has to be automatic promotion for me but if we have to do it through the playoffs then so be it. SW seemed completely out of it after that first playoff game but proved that in football, anything can happen. Thanks for all the coverage Tom. Looking forward to what next season could bring. Tough luck lad, Barnsley played well but just couldn't put us to the sword. I hope you can keep hold of Duff as he seems to be a damned good manager. How many of your players were loanees? Do you reckon you'll keep the core of the team together or are they going to be poached by other clubs?

Hi Tom I watched todays game and thought both teams played well end to end but on the day Wednesday come out on top and if I'm being honest I'd rather see Wednesday go out of the league now then face them next season as it gives Pompey a better chance of promotion next season hopefully

Dark horse Wednesday ? We finished nearly 10 points ahead of Barnsley
Sheffield Wednesday deserved to go up just because of where they finished in the season proper, should be only the top 3 like it used to be. Playoffs are just a bloated sideshow to earn money for the F.A to claw back the staggering cost of rebuilding Wembley. That said, Barnsley were completely robbed by VAR on the day, completely and utterly robbed. So glad we missed out on the playoffs, we were crap most of the season anyway and would've just had the same gutting disappointment as Barnsley if we'd made it to the final. Scrap the playoffs and just go back to top 3 only!

If I’m been totally honest SWFC don’t care about Barnsley what so ever but they try to make a Rivalry with us But Swfc real rivals are SUFC & Leeds United it was also Man Utd back in the day but maybe that boat as sailed as we have been out of the premier league for 23 Years & counting as we beat them in the 1991 league cup final & also we played Arsenal in Both Major Cup finals in 1993 as we was one of the best teams in England back then plus Europe & Top tier football from 1984-2000 Swfc was a great team in early 1990s

Go look at the match stats, Louie. Cam Dawson only had 2 saves to make all afternoon, ffs. The Barnsley keeper pulled off some brilliant saves and kept his team in the game. But, having said that he does flap at the ball quite a lot.
