back here in 2024. i come back to this video every year. im ashamed to say i have never felt more at peace than during lockdown. it was a terrible time. but i miss it.
Same bro. I really miss those beautiful days. 😢
Mee too
Even though COVID was awful. I must admit I miss Lockdown too. I miss looking out the window and hearing no cars and seeing the streets near empty.
Less people about. Less cars on the road. What was not to like? I used to go for walks on a night during that time and it was pure bliss. I also remember going down to my local B&M back in winter 2022 and there was usually only 5 people in there max. I miss that so much. I've honestly been hating life post-pandemic with the amount of people about and the amount of cars on the road now, meaning I no longer cycle places like I did during the pandemic. What a pile of fcking sh!t the world has become post-pandemic. If this is normal, then screw normal. I want the lockdowns back. It was such a happier time in my life. Not to mention how nature thrived during it. Now that everyone's back out in their cars, animals have been pushed back into the forest, rarely to be seen.
People who don’t even go jogging are jogging,I’ve never seen so many
Dj Rowl whole families are going jogging now 😧
It’s cos people aren’t outside so they think they’re invisible
The closure of gyms and cancellation of group sports (e.g. Sunday league/5-a-side football) are probably big factors in the increase in joggers.
Robert D no. I assume it’s the fact that they know they have to stay indoors and the shear fact they aren’t really leaving the house like they normally would hence exercising is weirdly calming
It's just drug dealers and buyers pretending to jog.
How am I feeling nostalgic about this? How's it been 2 years? Time flies 😭
Nostalgic about getting your rights stolen? Weird flex.
@@frankparent463 I never left my house anyway.
I know it was some sad times and people were dying, but I really like the quarantine aspect and everyone staying home.

They are still homeless
@krypt well said
@krypt Not all of them, some people have terrible families, think a little more
they are letting them die it seems, the government dont want them and would rather they die.
Lockdown obviously has a different meaning in the uk.
Yes it means party
yes there is some real men left not many
Each country is taking different measures if any.
Engineering company’s are all open a work for Bosch as a cnc machinest we are working
Quy Nguyen I’m happy it means what it means in the UK. I’d get incredibly depressed if it meant proper lockdown.
One of the biggest errors of government in recent times. Never again.
Rent and council tax should be put on hold for 3 months
They shoukd abolish council tax.

OKG2000 I know everyone’s a runner, rambler and outdoorsey person all of a sudden. This time last month the only time anyone went out was when they needed a new iPhone charger!
All of a sudden everyone is a dog walker, runner, cyclist... it’s took not being allowed out to appreciate the great outdoors
Clean air ,less people in the streets ,more bird song that would be ideal in normal life.
should just let people die tbh i missed having quiet streets
More ppl making babies at home.
And that's what everyone is thinking so they go out and it's not that less again
§hąřpśhøõțëŕ • 40 years ago (edited) that's good reason to go out yuck 😂😂
As soon I went to do some gardening today, nice to hear all the charming birds singing.
I miss lockdown. It was so peaceful outside and lovely clean air, no idiots around.
I did live was simple as knew what we had to do clean air no smog now it's all back to the norm we've even got a new war which isn't even are problem
It was good while it lasted, but society could not run like that for long
Me too, I wish I could rewind time and enjoy lockdown again with the foreknowledge that everything was going to be ok, and that Covid wasn't as bad as we were told.
Wait for SEERS 2025

This is so weird for me to say this as we are nearly approaching 4 years, as I know people have lost someone but for me who hasn't , lockdown one was one of happiest period of my life (essspeiclaly when furlough was announced and approved by my employer ). I was gyming , baking , gaming (war zone) with the mrs, using house party and teams to day connected with friends and family had a proper daily routine and got so much done around the flat , sure it was was frustrating in the beginning lining for hours in line at Sainsbury's etc just to do a quick shop. Even looking forward until Thursdays at 8pm for the NHS claps truly nostalgic for me.
Damn
same man
I was going out on long walks and bike rides. Never once encountered the police, so was never told to go back home. With so few people about, it was pure bliss. Now everything is sh!t. Ruined by the fact there's too many cars on the road and too many people in general. I feel depressed and mentally exhausted in general most of the time now because of it. The polar opposite of how I felt during the lockdowns. I mostly go out early in the morning these days because it's the closest I can get to reliving those days.
Looking Back this is nuts
yup
yep
As a essential truck driver we are absolutely loving the roads, never seen anything like it ever, its saved a huge amount of time off our journeys & tbh, we already never want it to go back to "Normal", just proves how bad the road system is & that the fact there is to many people living for things to cope with.

Something needs to be done about the self-employed, my cousin has no choice but to go out and work. He's a painter and decorator and was stopped during work by the police today and they told him to leave because what he was doing wasn't "essential." Maybe it isn't essential to the police, but it is to him. He needs money to pay bills and feed his family, but now he can't do that and there are so many just like him that get zero help due to being self-employed. I can't even imagine how many people are going to be homeless after this is over.
He should have told them to fuckoff. They uphold the law. It isn't law yet as it hasn't had royal assent.
Hello, How’s he now?
i went to walk my dog and there are more people outside in the park that when we are allowed out
Because everyone is at home and want to go out, normally people would be at work
its very ironic i felt so free and enthusiastic during lockdown
there is no such thing as lockdown, only in prisons..it means to be locked up as people in prisons are so as no one in society was ever locked up how can there have been a 'lockdown?'
Same. Now I feel mentally drained most of the time to the point where I have to have a lie down. Life now feels like a constant spiritual attack.
It's mad saying this, but lockdown is probably going to be up there for best memories for me. Because the weather was great every day, I got to go walking every day, no work to dread the next day, baking and cooking new recipes.

I'm amazed at how the plague strike people of 16th century somehow knew about isolating the sick people , considering that the concept germs or bacteria wasn't known then!
In some respects, our forebears were wiser than us.
They had less information, but loads information do not make us wiser. In fact, it is the best way to keep us confused.
@@cinderelladevil1687 I totally agree.
The fact that they didnt know about germs doesnt matter, since ancient Greece and Egypt people knew that when someone was sick it was best to avoid them.

When locked down first happened I knew was going to be okay with it. For I was on a lockdown for seven years because of a bad man. I already knew the psychological part of isolation. But this time I had more freedom, my son back with me, pregnant, and worked through it all as well. It was scary having to go into the hospital to see the doctor. Saw too many leaving without their love ones.
Every once in awhile got to look back to remember what all happened in those times and watch old clips. We as a society seem to forget real fast when their life's and right back before lockdown.

This a way of taking a stronger grip of the global economy. Making people more reliant on the government. Its also a way of moving to a cashless society, because the exchange of money spreads viruses. Then all our financial transactions can be monitored and they can also steal or control your money
@@keithrose6931 ageism has nothing to do with it. Rather, I am very interested in the data becoming available each day.
