- This is a second video in the series of detailed Germany Student Visa Application Process which is regarding all step by step procedures of application for masters student visa for Germany through VFS New Delhi, procedure to apply for Germany student visa and fill Germany visa application form.
I am making these videos as a part of my experience which I am going through right now so that I can provide the helpful information regarding all the important major and minor points that are either not explained properly anywhere or they are quite confusing.

Hii sir ....i got admission from 2 universities...but they are not the courses of my interest...so I'm waiting for my offer letter from Bremerhaven uni whose deadline is 30 June...and I'm trying to get loan now using the previous offer letter.... almost sanctioned.. but now the thing is visa ... actually im waiting...for my offer... without even booking slot ...todays date is 5th jul...what would you suggest me in this situation...if I apply visa after 15 th july...with enrollment date 1st October...will there be any slot left...can I get visa within September...and I haven't got any accommodation also...im sacred abt the whole process... could you suggest me anything...shall we change the university in the bank after getting loan and visa after booking... will there be any inconveniences...with that .. pls tell me sir...!

why would they ask for the relieving letter... I am employed, if i hide this fact it will be treated as concealment of facts.. i have my experience letters, i will attach them with the application.. relieving letter is out of ques? on what basis are you providing this fact?

Hi. Do we need to take DD just before the appointment date or can we take 3,4 days before. today as per india.diplo the visa fee is showing as 75eur= Rs6000 , But as per google conversion 75eur = 6174.59 . Which should be considered. And suppose I took the DD a day prior to appointment date and what if the price on appointment date shows more.

My Son visa appointment is on 29th September 2023. He has an admit in German University with an option to defer his admit upto next winter semester 2024-25. Since his course is not offered in Summer sem he has only option to chose next winter sem. My question is he can apply for student Visa with VFS India for Next winter semester? Since his university doesn't allow enrollment beyond 31.10.2023.

Hi !! What to fill in Father’s family name section-actually on my passport only his first name is mentioned not family name,so should i mention his family name as well in the form (as it is marked mandatory) ??
Moreover one year before i worked as an event manager (in total i have 4yrs of working experience with all relieving letter) so should i mention event manager in occupation learned or Event manager plus Assistant Manager in hotels as i have done that job too previously & in occupation i will mention self employed (handling mother’s business) is it ok ??

I would like to know that I have transferred 7lakh in my block account which is reflecting there but there is higher possibility that remaining 3lakh will be done only one day after my visa date. Will VFS staff consider my application?
My first visa application was rejected due application in a wrong category. When filling the section for explanation “Have you ever been expelled or deported from the federal republic of Germany or has an application for residence permit been rejected or entry into the federal republic of Germany refused?

Choose “No”. That was just a visa application that you are talking about not the residence permit.

No they will not allow to enter
Which VFS? Generally walk-in is not allowed anywhere these days.

As I am working in Immigration field, we usually put Passport Issuance Authority of___(name of city) in case of UK, can we put that here also?
I have one doubt regarding Adress, I have Adress in passport which was other city's where I completed my graduation. And after that I back to my native place. So can I put current address in it. Also, at which Adress I will receive my German visa, at current address or which mention in passport.
Check the visa form. There are 2 options, Permanent Address and Current Address. Fill it accordingly.

I actually have a question. At around 12:00 in the video, you start talking about the means of support section in the form. What should be selected for the "Has a formal declaration of commitment been completed" part? From what I understand the commitment has been extended by the company but what should be selected here to convey that? Any idea?
Basically, means of support is the one who will be responsible for your finances. Generally the safest thing is to open a blocked account but if there is anyone sponsoring you than you have to mention his name/company name and provide the proof of finance of that person/company plus a formal declaration stating that he going to support all your expenses.
If the sponsoring person/company is from Germany itself then there is a typical format that is called as Declaration of Commitment “Verpflichtungserklärungen” you need to get it from them and select Yes-By the reference.
*This answer is solely based upon my knowledge and understanding. I am no expert in this so I request you to kindly do your research as well before proceeding. Thanks

I'm confused about when to open the block account - Does this account need to open before the appointment date or before booking the slot?
You have to show this account at the time of submitting the documents for Visa on appointment date. Before that you can open it anytime. Just remember depending upon which service provider you will choose it can take upto 30 days to complete the process, so keep the margin accordingly.

Bro, my college starts in October 10th and my vfs visa slot is also on October 10th..there is an option to reschedule my appointment .but unfortunately it is showing some error. What should i do and is there any alternative options for getting early appointment
Do the photocopies of the documents need to be attested? Also, should the photocopies be black and white or color print?
Black & white photocopies are fine and doesn’t need to be notarised/attested.

Hello ! Thanks for the video. I have a question please I’m really worried. I fill out the application several times without saving it. Which means I got several pdf files with different reference numbers. I just wanted every time to add more information. Will this affect my application of videx it’s just a tool for making pdf? Really well explained. I had a doubt regarding my own VISA appointment. VFS sent a mail where in the appointment letter they mentioned Salary Slips, Proof of accommodation and Air Ticket as needed documents. Do you have any idea if that's a hard requirement?
Thanks for the feedback. I haven't reached that level, so I won't be able to provide the correct answer to your question. My appointment is in August.
Although, I talked to few people who already got the visa and they told me that it's was not required in long term visa but I am still not sure because I myself didn't went through that process yet.

As a Master's aspiring student, do we fill the online videx form before booking the appointment & being placed on the waiting list ? Do we need to take a print out of the videx form we have filled online ?
You can fill/re-fill the form any time. It's just a tool to help you to fill the form online. You need to carry the print/hard copy of it with you on the date of your appointment.

For visa appointment booking, there are 2 categories - A and B, which one has to be choosen. Can you elaborate on that
If you are planning to study Masters in Germany then you need to book appointment at VFS by choosing “A-Category” and this is also applicable if you are going for Bachelors and your grades in 12th were 90% or above.
But if you are going for Bachelors and your grades are below 90% than you can only book appointment at Consulate by choosing “B-Category “

Just enter the tentative date of your travel to Germany in the “From” and the end date of your program in “to” field. It doesn’t need to be specific.
Your visa validity will start from the date that you will enter in the “From” field.

.. this only a general thing that I mentioned in the video actually everyone should not mention “No occupation” if he is working full time and currently did not left the job. We have to mention what is correct.
In your case according to what I understand I think you should mention your current occupation because it’s important to show that you are already working, you are experienced and skilled and just moving for a better opportunity.

"videx" is just the prefix of the domain you see when you open the form directly through the link provided at Embassy's website.
You can get it from VFS website as well. It doesn't matter, both are Ok.
Hey, my college joining is in october start or September end. I just applied for visa today and I have been waitlisted. The process has changed this year. I had thought that 3 months was early enough to apply but now people are telling me that I am late and I should have applied 6 months prior. Do you think I have a chance of getting the visa on time ?
Yes, it can be a problem but there is still hope because recently I have seen that people are getting early slots as well. There are chances that you might get an appointment within a month. Keep watching and book the slot as soon as you get the email from VFS. Don't delay it even for a few minutes.

First see if you have any json file saved in your computer which generates after filling and saving form. Still if you don’t find it.. you don’t need to worry because you can always fill a new form. You can fill it any number of times.
