These three are probably their most known songs outside of the fandom, so I guess it was a great start, I am glad you liked it 🥰🥰

Kard’s earlier songs like oh nana and don’t recall had a heavy tropical house influence, that’s why they sound similar to you. Their more recent songs like red moon, gunshot or dumb litty start going into more different directions while keeping that Kard vibe, so it’s de cool for you to check them out as well.
To answer your question, yes there are other coed groups. But co-ed groups are not so popular in SK in general. The same goes for KARD as well, however they got so much popularity and quite famous outside SK, especially in Latin America. AKMU is also another co-ed group (fun fact; they're siblings) but they're not a "dancing" group but more like a musician/band group kinda thing.

Co-ed groups are generally well loved and received in Korea an example would be Roo'ra,AKMU and Troublemaker. Triple H was also well received and only disbanded because of Hyuna and Dawn going public with their relationship. Kard got the attention from Koreans,they liked them originally but lost interest claiming their music sounded the same.
Jiwooooo is my bias so much. I love her voice and style. It's not your usual kpop style for a girl 🙏 she's gorgeous and so talented

Oh Na Na is such a perfect song but so underrated. It’s a masterpiece.
BM is not a Chad, he gives off more of a himbo vibe. He's a really sweet dude, and founder and president of the Big Tiddie Committee, which started as a meme with the fans but evolved into a whole thing and including raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with the hastag #saveatiddiejointhecommittee. 😂 He's also cowritten a song and been involved in campaigns about bullying. I don't stan KARD but BM is something else.
I remember when they debuted I was so stoked because they're (I think) the only hyped coed idol groups. A lot of judgemental people keep saying like "nah they gonna date then the group will fail" but they became one of the most sibling like groups I've seen lmao. They're more known to be kinda like, online personalities cause they're funny as hell (one of them BM is a frequent person on Dive Studios, if you're interested on listening on to the podcasts/sessions. Also the honorary president of the big tiddy committee hahahhahaha he mentioned a member of pentagon and baekho from nu'est as ppl he appreciate for their big chests skdhghgk).
Somin is my bias. She has an amazing voice and she's beautiful
You should watch both the dance practice and the part switch dance practice for Oh Na Na the dance practice shows the choreography so much better in full and the part switch video is just really funny
I love all 4 members. I like BM alot as he puts out English content cause he is from California so that helps me. He is a man without a filter and very funny.
They are not the only co-ed, but the only successful one that last this long

KARD is a 4 membered co-ed group from DSP entertainment, that officially debuted on July 19th 2017, they just had their 3 year anniversary. They first put out projects to see if people would like a co-ed group, so that they could become an official group later on, so they put out 3 projects/songs, the songs were:
-Oh NaNa (December 13th, 2016)
-Don't Recall (February 16th, 2017)
-Rumor (April 24th, 2017)
And then they Debuted with Hola Hola on July 19th 2017.
Fun fact: they went on mutiple tours worldwide with only those 3 songs, because they were so known already, they're especially known in South America. They aren't really known in South Korean tho, they've only had one concert there that was last year, but because of Jiwoo's performances on the show Good Girl, she did trend on a Korean website mutiple times.

J.Seph: his name is Kim Taehyung, yes like V from BTS. He's the oldest and was born on the June 21st, 1992. (the one that started the song), most underrated in my opinion.
BM (Big Matthew): his Korean names are Kim Jinseok/Kim Woojin, he was born on October 20th, 1992 and he's from LA (the tall rapper, that rapped in the second verse, he was also shirtless at times). He's the most known one in my opinion, since a lot of memes are made about him and people know him even without knowing the group.
Somin: her name is Jeon Somin (same name as another known celebrity in Korea from the variety show Running man.). She was born on August 22nd, 1996 (The girl with brown hair int mv) (she has done a collab with pentagon's hui, a group you also haven't reacted to btw, on the show breakers, it's so good, pleache check it out)
Jiwoo: Her name is Jeon Jiwoo. She's the youngest of the group and she was born on October 4th, 1996. (The girl with white/blond hair) (she participated on a show called good girl and her performances on it were amazing, please check it out)
*The girls were both born in 96, whilst both guys were born in 92, and the girl also have the same surname, as well as the guys have the same surname*

Don't recall had a hidden version of the song, also had an mv, which was an english version and in the hidden version of Rumor, which was the dance version in different places, had the choreographer of the song as the hidden kard, you see her usually in the center of that song with her hair styled in a bun.
*btw: If you see people say big tiddie committee, it's because bm in 2019 started calling his (idol) friends, that work out, big tiddie men and also the big tiddie gang (he even held up a sign above, wonho's head from monsta x during the end of a live broadcast saying big tiddie gang- lmao) and made big tiddie committee a thing, which is a known meme in the kpop community and which is also why bm is usually referred to as the big tiddie committee president, big tiddy dude, CEO of big tiddies etc. bm aso has a clothing line called staydium and he earlier this year launched the big tiddie gang clothing merch lmao, the profits from the sales were donated to breast cancer awareness and research :'), bang chan from stray kids is also in the committee, he said that cuz bm said that he can be in it, that he will train hard for it lmao (cuz bm shouted him out and said that he's a part of it)*
But nowadays I feel like they're underrated/underappreciated since people usually just know of them, but don't really listn to their music, and then say that all their music sounds the same, while they've never heard a b-side or basically an album of theirs.

BM just released a few solo mvs as well, 13IVI and Broken Me. They're worth checking out when you can. The only other current coed group I know of is Checkmate, they have two releases so far, "You" and "Drum." AKMU is coed too, I guess, but as they're siblings it is a bit different, imo.

Kard , may not be first co-ed group in kpop but they are first to make it successfully internationally & remain successful on the international fanbase they also one few group that had your world before pandemic like they perform in brazil 🇧🇷 how kool was that , they reach as far as the Caribbean to the USA , Canada , India, London,here in guyana 🇬🇾 where am from , etc yet they are not as popular in south Korea because I assume they don't fit the Korean narrative there music is upbeat & member are mad funny and down to earth , they are so underrated , the member are all mutli- talented an on par with the liked of Bts , black pink , mamamoo etc ( they are all good groups ) but hard has yet to hit hard with south Korea market 🤭nevertheless I hope they stick around for long time as they make amazing music please react to more kard music.

So here's a short guide to the history of co-ed groups in K-pop.
• The first co-ed group that debuted in South Korea was a group called Roo'ra. They were quite popular and well loved in the 90's.
❤️Fun fact: when Kard first debuted, Koreans had their eyes on them because it reminded them of Roo'ra.❤️
• AKMU is a really successful brother-sister co-ed duo under YG Entertainment. I believe they're still active.
• Troublemaker was also a very successful co-ed duo composed of HyunA and Hyung-sung, a former member of the group BEAST. Although they disbanded after a short career, to this day they remain ICONIC.
• Co-ed School was also a pretty successful group although people lost interest in them because of their dinamic. They seemed to separate the guys from the girls quite a lot and Korean fans thought that they should just be two separate groups so, they disbanded and two separate ONE gender groups were created with the members but people had already moved on from them.
• Triple H was a super iconic group composed of HyunA,DAWN and Hui from boygroup Pentagon. The group disbanded when news broke out of HyunA and Dawn dating. This was what got them booted from Cube Entertainment. They're now both now under P Nation about to debut again but this time as a co-ed duo.
• Then recently Checkmate debuted and boygroup B.I.G (Boys In Grove) and girlgroup 3YE (Third Eye) debuted together as 777 (Triple Seven), a project group that will have comebacks seasonally.

another coed group that debuted recently (either this year or last i cant remember lol) is CHECKMATE. I've only heard two songs by them, I'm not sure if they have others but 'You' is a nice lil song imo

Check her out in her "Gunshot"-era witchstreaked glory in MNET's "Good Girl", as one of eight female idols mixed and matched in performances against challengers. Hello! So they aren’t the first coed group, I would say however, they are the first successful coed group since Roo’ra so far. The coed groups that have been debuted in the past have not lasted, while Kard is still going strong. AKMU is a brother and sister duo that is also really successful.
KARD debuted in 2017 under DSP media.
There are four members, I will go with Bomb Bomb in order of appearance.
We start with J. seph, Born in 1992, he is a Main dancer, lead rapper, and sub vocalist. He is currently serving in the military.
Jiwoo, (blonde in Bomb Bomb) Born in 1996, Main dancer, lead vocalist, sub rapper and the maknae (youngest).
Somin, also born in 1996, is a main vocalist and visual. She was previously in a Kpop group called April, which has a very innocent concept, so this was a total change when she joined Kard.
And Chad lmao is BM. He is the lead rapper and a main dancer. He was born in 1992. He’s from Los Angeles, his father is actually Brazilian, and his mom is Korean, and he is fluent in English. He’s mad hilarious.
The fandom is called Hidden Kard.
To say they're the first successful group not only feels like a stretch but like misleading information. Roo'ra was the first co-ed group, debuting in the 90's and they were quite popular and well loved in South Korea. Other co-ed acts that had a pretty eventful and successful career would be co-ed duo AKMU, who are still active and co-ed School, Troublemaker & Triple H. Although they had a short career they where all well received.
Kard would be the only successful group globally.

As others have mentioned, not the first. In the beginning of kpop as it's known (92ish) there were a couple. Koyote, Roora, zaza, yg family. Reason why there are basically none right now is bc companies realized how much MORE successful groups became with official fandoms (when the fans of HOT and Sechskies basically went buck wild with fanmade stuff and overwhelming public appearances) and those fandoms were basically young boys or young girls. Fandom developed, idol group identity developed (groups became ownership of the "people"....ie fans). Same sex group just made so much more money bc of these huge fandoms. Another practical reason, the idol training system....it just didn't work to have pre teen boys and girls living and training together. These days for the same reasons there just aren't any but also almost all songwriters specifically write either by or gg songs so there's no supply for coed groups.

Some have mentioned AKMU and even though they are signed with YG, they are not an idol group. They are not held to the same rules. They don't dance (at least not to the stds of idol groups), they write their own music, they're siblings....if anything, they belong much more to the indie genre but just HAPPEN to be managed by a Big 3. The brother is much more a singer-songwriter and the sister is a pure singer

He asked one of his friends for help and that friend said that maybe God was trying to make him king of something, and it all came up when he debuted. He's the letter "K" in KARD. It stands for King, meaning that he's the King KARD.
