- A rare pro shot Toto appearance at the 2004 Tokyo Jazz. Don’t know why they did Africa when this was supposed to be a jazz festival. They did extended this and did a very long fusion(ish) jam at the end I guess to make up for the fact that this isn’t a jazz standard! Still…great to see the guys and Mike Porcaro in action
Herbie Hancock was also on the bill with other heavyweight jazz players.
Whoever mixed this used way too much ‘room’ sound. It’s literally swimming in reverb! - Hudba
There's not many guitarists who could play an evh style solo over a song like this and have it sound this good.
beautiful watching a toto video and noticing one of your good friends is the person who posted!!
that is an extremely rare gem. lease if you have audio/video of other toto concerts from 2004 then plz do upload
have a look at this. it's from the same concert with members of Toto having a very long jam with some jazz greats : czcams.com/video/fCykLg0Z6GU/video.html

Toto would have never been anything without Bobby Kimball. Facts....
100%
That audience needs a shot of caffeine.
this song can be played anywhere at anytime. they eared that right with this jam. prob was the best tune there..
According to Steve Lukather, this song ALMOST never made a cut in the TOTO IV album.
Is this at the international forum?

Doophin kill lovers. See the gig in Far Islands and what those people did. Toto does not care them killing of thousands of dolphins! Smarter animals than dogs.
The sound on this is absolutely awful. You can barely hear Bobby.
Simplesmente maravilhosos ❤
