Can you create images based on an image on Dall E 2?
If not, do you know any good AI that can do that?
For anyone seriously into creating specific images, it is absurdly pricy. It's close to a gambling model, drawing out the process by baiting the customer with images that always need an extra little bit of tweaking.
It will start with a crappy image and then requires a LOT of changes and prompts to get the image you're looking for, if you ever get a good image at all.

So far all of my images look like digital art from the 1990s. Really not impressed. I don't care for Firefly either. I am seeing all of these super cool images but not sure what source is generating them.

@@betseyjohnson2987 BROTHER! I FOUND IT! It's Dalle 3! To access it you basically have to pay $20 per month with GPT4. The images are beautiful and exactly like the ones in these videos!
Do all the variations and edits count as credits? Or does one text idea plus endless variations and edits count as one credit?

Could someone tell me how to actually use the AI? Since Even though I used Open AI to give me a veeeeeery detailed description of the thing i wanted it to create it still just produced drawings on the level of a toddler. But when i watch videos like those here. They just type in a few words and the ai produces insanely detailed drawings with the exact parameters they wanted.
So am I doing something wrong?
I found out what the problem was. If you don't specify how much credits you will use to generate a picture then it will use the minimal amountor, but to actually get those super detailed pictures you need to put in at least 50 to get a good picture that has atleat resemblance to the parameters you put in. So without spending cash it is moderately fun for an hour. And you get 50 at the start and 15 credits each month.

DALL-E still doesn't know how chess pieces look like. I've asked it to draw a knight, and it drew 1 picture of a knight, 2 pictures of rooks and a pawn. When I asked to draw a rook, it offered 4 variants of a bishop. Hilarious.
