Ugh I don't wish dental issues on anyone! Glad you got it taken care of. I was born with weak enamel so regardless of how well I take care of my teeth I will end up in the chair. Unfortunately our youngest inherited it as well and had to have his front top 4 teeth removed, 4 crowns and 3 fillings...in one day! It has been 2 years and it is going to be hard to get use to once his permanent teeth come in.
Something similar happened to me!! I grew up with well water instead of city water so I never got enough fluoride growing up. I started having cavities a few years ago and we were shocked because of how well I take care of my teeth (I brush sometimes more than twice a day and I floss) and my dentist said it was because of not having fluoride! So no matter how hard I’ve tried at taking proper care of my teeth, they’ve still managed to get damaged from no fluoride. I’m sorry you have this condition but I promise there are others out there who understand!!
