I used 20mm beads but if you wanted to put more beads on there I'd recommend getting between 12mm-16mm beads to fit more than just 2. Sassy Bead Shoppe has a good selection of smaller beads!

Thank you for this video. So simple and sweet. I was thinking that I had to glue each individual bead in order for it to stay in place, but now I see that like you did you only need to glue the top piece together in order to hold all of the beads in place.

My pen looks lopsided, how do I fix? Some beads fit together better than others, is there a way to make them fit better?

oops sorry I forgot to include that in the description box! I would recommend trying between the 12-16mm ones which you can find a lot of those in the Sassy Bead Shop on etsy - one of the vendors I listed there.

Thats a tough one. I have never epoxied these. It is a very small work area. You may be able to do it with waterslide. You would have to sand them to prep and that would remove the color. I would also recommend buying the stainless blanks and not the acrylic ones.

I'm sorry. I dont know the available shopping sites/craft sites for purchase or delivery in equador. If you have sites like temu or alibaba, you can try those. Asian based supply companies usually ship worldwide.
What shop did you find the heart bead from because I looked through the sites you linked & I couldn't find them

Is there a difference in plastic versus metal pens? Are one better than the other?
The metal is priced higher and the material, if course, is little sturdier but the plastic is just fine.

I am excited to make these but I am so confused. When I go to Michael's, Hobby Lobby or any other place that sells beads, how do I know what size bead hole to get? What will it say on the package? What size beads/bead holes are recommended for these pens? Please be as specific as possible. Thank you!
2-3mm for the hole size is what you want

What size beads do you use?
I actually don’t have a favorite size bead because they come in so many different sizes and shapes. It’s just really hard to choose. Just have to make sure they are large hole or 2mm-2.5mm

My beads turn I have jumpers and they still turn
If the turning really bothers you, you can use a little glue to hold them in place to one another and to the top and bottom of the pen parts they touch.
Can wooden beads be used… all reds bubblegum beads seem to be sold out everywhere

The gauge of the dowel is quite large
