As a player I can’t reiterate enough how good it feels to have a general at fly half like this. Do your job, stick your holes and expect the ball & ol mate Richie will hit whoever is in space. His positional awareness is S-tier. I also like how he runs a gamble too but still respects the code. He could’ve gone outside at 1:58 utilising his evident fend off but respected that the line was right there and his team mates would now be in his outside so it wasn’t worth the gamble. His mind for calculated risk fly is also a massive aspect to his play. Exciting player to watch especially at this level as he’ll risk more 🤣

I've grown to watch him play and see him come all this way to Japan, he's a class of his own and you can tell how easy it is for him to get through his ball kicking game. He's the reason I wanna play rugby union and hopefully meet him someday, and tell him how he made me want to play in this sporting code. A role model he is for me as a young individual who takes his skills and hardwork as motivation. Gotto love Richie!

The fact that you watch this video and have something negative to say about the player in it is insane. This was an absolute blinder of a game, in a potentially record setting season in Japanese rugby for Mo. The fact that these highlights included every touch of the ball he had, showed exactly why it doesn't matter that he sometimes gets greedy with his touchfinders, or hits the bar with a few kicks. Every other opportunity given, he individually unravels Verblitz. Absolute peaches of passes, along with what seemed like an impossible amount of dummies and clean breaks - not to mention some of the ballsiest kicking out of hand you're going to see successfully pulled off by a 10 at a professional level. What's your definition of a masterclass? Maybe you can watch every Super Rugby final over the last 7 years to get a refresher on what it looks like to most people.

@@Ashargall I am a crusaders fan and a big fan of mounga but this isn't even close to his best work and even if it was, it's against comparatively weak opponents. You may not be aware of this, but Rugby players call playing in Japan, Holiday Rugby. Moounga is a predigous talent but this isn't a demonstration of his 'best' work. This is the examples of what a good player can achieve under very little pressure. No need to get bent out of shape over it.
