  • See hummingbirds enjoy nectar from Cascade® Helix Amethyst™ Hummingbird Feeders. The yellow ports and purple flower skirts on the red cover attract birds. The helical design allows birds to move up and down the ports just like they do on flower clusters in nature. And the feeders are fun to fill as you watch nectar cascade. And easy to clean through the flip-top. Videos taken in Colorado and California.
Personalize your Amethyst Feeders! Add Amethyst Flower Skirts to all yellow flower ports or make your own pattern. Some ideas include alternating yellow and purple. Or purple on one red cover and yellow on the other. Be Creative and find your own style. See our other videos about adding the flower skirts.
Cascade® helical feeders are the only genuine helical feeders, patented in the USA. BEWARE Counterfeits. Any ads/posts NOT branded Cascade® by Ideam are 100% poor quality counterfeits! Buy Only from CascadeFeeders.com or Etsy or Amazon.

You don't mention that all of those holes have to be cleaned out frequently. No thanks !

Good morning. That's an insightful observation. However, Cascade feeders really are easy to maintain. Customers have had Cascade feeders hanging in hot sunny weather for months without having to clean all the ports as you feared. When a single port occasionally gets dirty, simply clear it out with a toothpick.
You will find that the Flip-Top on Cascade Feeders allows you to do a quick-clean very easily. Just open the top and run hot tap water through the feeder. In addition, as with any hummingbird feeder, be sure to take it apart to do a deep cleaning once a week. And a trick to help keep harmful black mold from collecting, spray vinegar along the ports, then rinse.
Follow the guidelines from experts like the Audubon Society, where they recommend cleaning and refilling ANY hummingbird feeder weekly and in hot weather, every 2 days.
