      Glad you enjoyed it. The nicer homes are impossible to see unless you catch a gate open or go to Google earth which is a little behind on some of its images.

      No, you should come in May.
      You are coming on the best time.
      Some Expats never stay in Merida to experience the heat. They always run at the end of April. They are the Merida lovers because they never see Merida angry lol

      November will be our first trip to Merida. If we like what we see. We are returning in June of 2024 for a 6 month visit, or maybe longer. @@travelerawakenings8477

      You should come during the heat time to see if you can really live here. I decided to stay here from.May to Nov which is the heat period. I realized that Merida is not for me. I am happy I too this test

      @@travelerawakenings8477 if I can live in Texas for 30 years I’m sure I can handle Merida heat. 😂 Texas heat is brutal and we’ve compared our hottest days with what the temp was there at the same time and every time Merida was like 10 degrees lower.

      They said the heat here in Merida is different than the heat in Texas because Merida is very humid. Until you try it, you won't know. Merida is a whole new level

      That’s part of the problem. They can ask whatever they want for a property. I’m not saying it’s not worth it. I would look at others for that money 💵

      Very very. I wore under armor tights this morning on my run because it was 64 degrees and windy. 🌬️ my blood is thin as water now. When it’s 80-90 I’m like this weather is beautiful.

      @@Mexitplans I would highly encourage anyone who plans to relocate from the US to strongly consider whether they want to live in the Merida heat. For me, no way. Guadalajara gets hot in the summer but the weather is far better than Merida. At the end of the day to each their own..

      ​@sesomnoslen5729 I came here four months ago since May, during the worst time for the heat. I can not do it. I am leaving. I am always locked in the house. So , I didn't even have to visit the city yet, even I have been here for 4 months. I am getting out of here. Going to Queretaro or Mexico city

      The parks get a very good amount of use early in the mornings and the evenings. You learn to not do stuff in the middle of the day.

      It's paradise for people that need healing away from chaotic countries and life situations, its become their sanctuary, a safe zone and that is special.

    You really can't "live" in Mexico w/o a lot of $ - they only allow you to visit and leave - visit and leave......... A poor system for visas - extremely dysfunctional and inconsistently applied ! -- Not very desirable for many Americans in the affordable areas due to the language barrier - and - the gringo pricing ! > It's fine if your hispanic and/or are fluent with Spanish.

      You do need to be able to support yourself, yes. It’s one of the easiest places to obtain a resident visa. The rules are applied inconsistently. There are over 1M US citizens living here today so many of us think it’s desirable.

      @@Mexitplans 1M ? -- Some 9M world wide in some 160 countries have US expats - including Mexico. So (?) 8M prefer it somewhere else is what I'm saying ? Including me. Their new financial requirements (for example) are insane when it costs a fraction of that to "support yourself" ??? It really limits the incomes of the locals !

      @@KB3TLE​​⁠I think you are proving my point. More people from the United States live in Mexico than any of the other 159 countries. So when people from the US leave they overwhelming select Mexico. It’s not for everyone but it is the most popular choice.

Simple geography and the hispanic connection is a likely 'large' % of those with family relatives marriages.... not at all the exclusive reason for a desirable expat location necessarily ? I subtract those from - "the most popular choice" as an ''expat'' location. -?-

    Bro. Great video. However your pronunciations are so wack. Parkey?? What. Fyi. Just pronounced the vowels AEI OU with a Spanish sound and not English. Aah. eH.( sounds like softer ate). I is EE. Like weeeee.. O. Like. OH no.. U. Uff. With out the F. 5 min effort and your much easier to listen to.. 😂
