Joker was nerfed on Nov-Dec 2021, so it makes sense.
I'm kinda new to this and I have a question. Are they uses corded controllers?? Or are those wireless controllers simply being charged while they play. Is there an advantage to what they're doing?

@@tantanthespaceman1923yes those are wired Nintendo GameCube controllers. Usually the controllers you see in competition will have modifications like more responsive buttons, and calibrated sticks. The reason they use wired controllers instead of wireless is to minimize input delay. Hope that helped clear things up.

Bc in competitive mu's are not the most important thing, is consistency. Joker is a very unconsistent character and if Leo is not on point this can happen. Same happens to tweek with Diddy for example

Manifest small parts of you to be Alble to understand the parts like adapting . Offense. Bla bla on a basis level. After that improve them by looking at their weaknesses. End lag and stuff. Then we you got the basic down . Practice combination in a simple manner and keep inscreasinf the difficulty. You don’t have to understand it you have to know it and your trained unconsious is the best at doing that.

I love how Incineroar just gets free Revenge as soon as Mythra has to do a low up B to ledge. Happened a couple of times here.
It’s a 50/50, if mythra reverse up bs they don’t get revenge, but if incin reads it then can get a down tilt or forward tilt
That last time I saw Skyjay vs Leo (maybe a month ago or so), it was a massacre. Leo read Skyjay like a book throughout the entire set and it was almost hard to watch. The man is simply insane, kudos to him for breaking thru!

He just made some weird decisions, like why would he not go for the grab at the end of game two when skyjay had revenge active. He took a 45% backthrow and was in a terrible position

Bro stop your whinings he came back to Joker a while ago already and it clearly doesn't do better than the Aegis. At the end of the day if the Joker is not relevant anymore in the current meta, Leo will always favor Aegis as it's the character he likes to play. He's not gonna play Joker if Joker doesn't do better and it just makes sense, you guys have to chill out and just understand that x)
@@vb5281 Brother, he played one game with Joker and gave up 💀 him going Joker doesn’t mean he’ll never lose. But there’s a big difference between his Aegis and his other characters. It’s pretty glaring.
Not only that, he keeps saying that he will drop Aegis and keeps going back. Which means he notices the issues, yet keeps going back anyway.
@@vb5281 bro are you serious? The joker was doing fine game 1 it's just that MkLeo makes frustrating decisions sometimes and switches to aegis for the next 2 games. The joker did a lot better than the aegis in this set, game 2 was only last stock situation cuz skyjay SD'ed

I can't believe Leo got out of his seat midgame on the third set to yell "You are carried by your character! Time to pull out my Isabelle." And then proceeded to three stock Skyjay. That was a wild finish.

it's actually so weird to see Leo not have a single answer. Like he started playing like he'd already given up on that last stock, throwing out whatever he can cause maybe it'll work. I don't think I've really seen Leo so antsy like that before

Na como dijo un tipo en otro video simplemente aprovecho que no tenía competencia y ya y es cierto skyjay,Tea,acola, miya,onin , zomba,apolokage y muteace ni estaban
Spargo ni se dedicaba al 100 a esto riddles y kameme ni salian de su pais mas que unas cuantas veces kurama apenas y empezaba y todavía se desapareció un tiempo jakal lo mismo literalmente las unicas amenazas eran tweek, light ,zackray y Mars no la tenia muy complicada que digamos y todavía se puso mas facil ya que zackray se sentro en otras cosas y a mars le nerfearon horrible a su personaje y se fijan hay patron en eso ya que la mayoría que mencione han destruido a leo en lo que va del año solo muteace y tea no le han ganado y miya no se a topado con el los demás le han metido un 3-0 limpio

@@juliendreemurr654 Because it’s a nickname I gave them due to playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 multiple times. Actually the entire Xenoblade franchise multiple times. It just sounds better to me as I endear those 2 personalities. Funny thing was Rex actually said Pythra and Myra once late into the game.

I think players just figured out Mkleo's characters. When joker came out peo0le didnt know how to fight againgst him then they learned same thing goes for Byleth people learned the MU. Mkleo just needs to stick to 1 character and grind with that 1 character Joker is solo viable Leo just needs to grind with him and not give up
Yeah I was going to say he kind of has a character crisis rn and the pool of players around him have closed the skill gap. His winning records are insane but I think Joker/Byleth is not bad for him to really grind again. Pyra Mythra's recovery to me is just too mid and exploitable as well as no added movement capabilities like gun dashes or b reverse cancels with Byleth.

@@melomitchell8714 I will also say Mkleo has like some of the most vods to watch and study so makes sense eventually people get it. Like we said tho, couple of quick reads and he obliterates stocks with arsen or byleth shield breaks. Pyra Mythra just based on consistency imo not too much clutch factor.

People are just catching up, man. Same thing happened with ZeRo in Smash 4. Nobody stays the best forever. In the end all of these guys are just regular people. They're not infallible or incapable of being surpassed.

I keep saying over and over, Byleth is his character. His Joker is still good, but I think if he should be switching to any Character, it should be Byleth.
Byleth has a great matchup vs Incin, too, can easily keep him out with those big hitboxes.

Looks like players finally have caught on to Leo just jumping and doing an aerial, not focusing on a grounded game, and giving up on characters when it’s just him not playing it smarter.

This is so sad. Leo is just mashing with Mythra. There was a moment in gm 2 Skyjay had revenge for like 10 secs and in that span Leo just threw out attacks 3 times instead of grabbing. Going Kalos that last game was literally an indication he didnt care. Sigh.

Kalos is really bad for Incin idk what you’re talking about. Mythra has one of the best speeds in the game and that stage is huge.
Perfect! Incineroar is better than Aegis in every aspect: Design, looks, power, voice, moveset, strategy, combos, personality, excitement, entertainment, comeback, franchise and, most importantly, a very respectable character in Ultimate !

I feel like smash ultimate is in a pretty healthy state of balance due to the character variety I'm seeing in tournaments. Watching Evo 2023, grand finals in 6 of the 8 games that were part of the event were mirror matches of the same character or team. Insanely stale compared to the crazy variety I'm seeing from smash lately.

Leo... my man. We all love you. But we have to talk about this Pyra/Mythra thing. That ain't it, chief.
That said, I have to agree with Larry Lurr. Everyone knows Leo's absolute dominance with Joker a few years ago, but Byleth is hands down Leo's best character. Byleth plays to Leo's best qualities which are spacing and zoning. Safe bread and butter combos (i.e. nair to dash attack), incredible zoning tools (bair/fair), easy kill confirms (d-tilt to up air), and really good ledgetrapping and offstage options (f-smash, d-tilt, up-b). The up-b in particular is devastating.
