Lee Heari is hands down the best singer in Korea. No one is close to her in terms of singing skills with which to deliver not only deep emotions but a wide range of emotions from dance grooves to sad pensive melancholic feelings, and that's been the key to the unprecedented success of Davichi, a female vocal group -- a case which is extremely rare and considered nearly impossible due to the peculiar nature of Korean pop music landscape, while all other female singers in Korea, except female idol groups, have been struggling to survive just as a singer. Simply, Lee Heari sings in a league of her own--Yes, she is that good!!!
Some morons who have no idea of emotions of songs or don't know what's going on in Korean music industry talk of Korean singers, huh? Give me a break you idiots! If you wanna talk about singers, then learn about emotion and Korean language first and come here to express your subjective opinions!
Speaking of the sound unbalance between Lee Heari and the male singer, Lee Seungchul, some folks who attended the show in person said that in real life Heari's voice was much larger compared to that of the other singer, so in order to create a balance between their voices, some staffers in charge of the sound effect lowered Heari's sound for the viewers during the editing process and also presumably for the male singer (as this episode is a tribute to the male singer. That way it wouldn't embarrass the guy and his fans :))
Bruh I live in korea. LMFAO and I live on emotion of music. Music is my passion and I love listening to meaningful music like this. But emotion is a basic in music...without it music couldn't exist. Deep emotion is expressed in most korean singers because the understanding of their musicality is so high in level compared to the other singers of the world. 아직도 기억난다.. 15년전쯤 관악산앞에서 라디오생방무대로 KCM 임정희 거미 등등 당시 내로라하는 가수들하고 이승철나왔었는데 딱 이런느낌이었음.. 다른 가수들 혼심 다해서 부르는데 이승철 성량이 훨씬크고 뭔가 득음한 느낌이었음 두 단계정도 앞서있다 생각들었음
