Can you start your loc like this?
Yes, if you get a chance to watch the full video with the audio in, i actually discuss it, in this video 🌹
I am so excited. I am going to start my locs like this. Thank you!!!
@@sarahsloan1336 I am in the process as well!!
Definitely starting my locs like this💖
Yes this is how I started mine. N my hair was relaxed n I didn’t wanna cut it. I left it in for 9 months.
I love this, I've tried to find stylists or braiders by me to do hair like this. Not only does it look natural its healthy in the long run for the scalp, edges and strands. This is a true protective style. You did a great job.
Appreciate you taking the time to give feedback aside from watching😊💪
That's literally one of the best jobs I've ever seen, period! Looks amazing!
18missmm means a lot ☺️ thanks for tuning in
18missmm Most Definitely.
I like your “finger” parting technique better than using a comb. It looks more natural to me! I’m not a fan of the perfectly sectioned parts.TFS
iKR! thanks for watching and your feedback
sterlingsilvergirl i totally agree. I love braids, locs and twist hairstyles to look more organic
@@marcoharley9540 yes! I love natural parting
So glad to see your channel growing! Refreshing to see channels from actual stylists and salon owners out here coming up. This market is oversaturated with '"popularity and influencers" that only do their own hair 🙄🌹
This is beautiful! The best twists I have seen and they look so natural. Thank you!
Fabulous! Love the parting method and technique as a whole. Short, Not over sold. Love it! 👍
Tarmeque Stewart appreciate it. Thanks for feedback/tuning in.
I'm super late finding this video; but this is about to be my go-to style for the next few months. THANK YOU!!
Love it especially the finger parting.
Jearlean Paul sweet and thanks for watching/tuning in
Great video with pleasant music. Thank you!
Your client's hair looks marvelous! and I like how the Kinky hair camouflages with her hair color as well 🤗🤗
Thanks and yes I picked the color match 💯
This is absolutely beautiful! I’m getting this soon!!
You did a wonderful job, plus your client has a beautiful healthy hair.
This is so nice and natural. Who could even possibly give this a thumbs down what is wrong with them?
SBL Hairloss i was scratching my head too, lol
Such A Natural can't wait to try on a client!!
SBL Hairloss yez, text me pics 313.948.8957
Probably because it's supposed to show the technique but you can't tell how she begins the install. The camera is not in the best position to teach technique. And no I didn't thumbs it down. Didnt watch the rest of the vid because I couldn't see what she was doing.
@@rhondal8887 It gets better throughout the video, but i could see that being off putting.
Thanks for the support.

This video is the bomb thanks for posting ima going to start my locs off using this method and I love the hair excellent job

I loveee the finger parting! TFS 😀
Omg that’s so pretty!!!! I’m definitely going to try this out!!!❤️😍😍😍
Sweet 😊 thanks for checking this out 😌
I love this so much. My hair has good length, but it’s very fine. I would love a protective style like this so that I can actually get away from the wigs and scarves.
You can totally wear them! Her hair is fine in the video that's why the size is a bit small. Scale yours accordingly. It'll look great 😊
U did an awesome Job doing this style and make it look so easy.
Thanks so much for tuning in😊💕
I love your video! Your explanations are thoughtful and clear, and your work is beautiful. I so wish we were in the same state because I'd be booking an appointment with you. Blessings.

I'm sooo determined to get this style CORRECT when I do it 🤗🤞🏽
Thats precisely why you will☺💪💪
That was a beautiful job you done! but thanks for explaining it so well it is much appreciated
You taking the time to give input as well as supporting is greatly appreciated☺
I think this style might be the next move for my hair.
Looks great! I'll try your method the next time I do my hair. With my fine soft hair I will just make mine a little bit smaller.
Smaller will definitely help you may also want to let it air dry so you have more body/fullness
Best method I’ve seen
Thank you for this video! This is exactly what I want for my hair....I have my natural hair twisted right now but I would like some synthetic hair, just for some fullness.
Kathleen Brown thank you for watching😆
😅This is actually synthetic hair, too. Volume outcome based on clients density and texture of hair.
This client, tho head of hair is full, has a looser kinky curl with fine strands so it gives a flatter effect compared to some other clients. Check out the ig page when you get some time @suchanatural.beauty to compare☺️

How long did it last?
The style lasts up to 3 months. I did mention in the video but thanks for commenting 😊
@Such A Natural Sorry that question for @gonatural11 in her experience
I should've been more specific.
No problem ☺️
I'm having trouble with getting a good grip at the root on some sections of my hair. Any suggestions?
Rashida Taylor watch a few braid extension tutorials to get acquainted/comfortable with braiding in extension, then proceed with twisting down

Lisa J I Thanks for the feedback 🔥i appreciate you taking the time to tune in. Feel free to pass along to fellow DIYers☺️
Thanks!! I love your video.
Love this. Wished someone in Jackson, MS could do this for me. What brand of hair did you use?
Thanks for tuning in! The ideal texture is afro kinkybulk. I refrain from suggesting specific brands because I've seen inconsistencies in many. So, is the more ideal option to let my audience know it's best to test/twist the hair before buying to insure quality, forthe sake of liability. I never want to be misleading. Just think of i told you get"xyz" and it was the bad batch, now I'm questionable. Lol!
Her natural hair is thick and gorgeous. I'm about to get started on mine
Best to you! Tag me in your selfie on ig @suchanatural.beauty once finish. I wanna see you shine💕
Would love to know the type of hair/brand you used. Thank you
csb2414 hey thanks for watching.I use a variety of different brands but the texture is called afro kinky bulk(synthetic). Be sure to twist hair before purchasing (packs can be inconsistent)
Love it. I just can’t see exactly how you start the braid. How you hold the hair and connect. I keep rewinding... wish the camera was on top and in slow motion. Thanks!!!
Thanks for watching. Good point to add that angle to next video. In the meantime look up videos on adding individual braid extension, it starts as a braid, then I twist
Such A Natural YOU ROCK! Thank you for responding. Wish you were in NYC! 😊
@@madiej.7516 could be, where can I do a free class or pop up? I sent a proposal to and got feedback from relax she's natural salon. But perhaps local requests can help speed up the process of me being there for you and others in need. Call and ask for Ms.D tell her we need Mo from Detroit here, lol
Love how you part with your finger, how the hair looked when you completed the style.
Deborah Davidson thanks so much
Hi I love this!! Can it be done on transitioning hair? Or relaxed hair?
Sunya G. DaHairQueen excellent question. The texture of this hair matches so well with the models hair because it’s in a curly state. Hair that has any sort of straightness to it will poke out. Unlike the straight kanekalon hair used for braids and Senegalese twists which camouflages and controls straighter textures.
I wouldn’t recommend trying this look until you cut off the straightness, in all honesty, it won’t look good/have much longevity if you do. Thanks for watching☺️
Beautiful. Like your style , sis!
MingToi Isaac Thanks a lot for tuning in‼️☺️
Hi, what brand of hair did you use, I learned the hard way that not all are created equally. Thanks
ive used all of them (accessible to metro Detroit) and they can all be inconsistent. Go for the afro kinky texture and just twist before purchasing to be sure.
I love this but whenever I add extension hair to my hair , my twist fuzz’s up after a week or two and starts poking out from the twist . Any suggestions how to avoid this ? I live in a very humid area
Thanks! My guess is you are wetting them a lot or doing them too large. You want to be sure you control the hair and properly have it controlled by the extension during install this will help you overall avoid the problem and after a couple months you can Palm roll to neaten and for aways.
Good job👍 well done 👏
Such a good tutorial 😍❤
Appreciate it and thanks for tuning in☺
Beautiful, it looks very natural. I was wondering if I could start my loc'c off this way, with human hair of course???
thank you. of course you can. this is the perfect option for those looking to skip any potential awkward phases of the locking process. it can be with either fiber. as your new growth will be what you continue on with the palm rolling method. so it really just boils down to if you want to spend on the human hair or not (35 a pack in the metro detroit area) when youd spend about that much in total for the synthetic hair. lastly you get more length retention with the synthetic hair and the human hair doesnt render the same result, loks good, just not like the finished look in this video (from what ive seen). thanks for watching and your feedback. you can text or call me at anytime for any further concerns 313-948-8957. take care
Hello where are you located exactly in Detroit? Also how much for something like this?

🌹
Love it want to know if I do this style but with human hair will this turn into locs I'm getting this next week
Thanks, i may have confirmed it here or in another video but with this type of human hair it will remain looking like a two strand twist. It's just a starting point and people typically cut the extensions off after their hair grows out and the roots have been palm rolled and formed into locs. Usually people do this in one to two years. You can spend more money on human hair if you choose but the result will be them staying the same. No matter how long you keep them in. I've seen it time after time.
Best wishes 🌹
What type of hair are you adding? I love this and definitely want to try it
I mention in the video actually. Its afro kinky bulk hair. If you would like check the description for a video reviewing more specifics about hair i like to use. Thanks for watching

great job love the style
Thanks a lot 😊
I'll be doing this on my hair tomorrow. Thank you.
Well later today

Great video. Can you let me know the type and brand of har you used as I have tried a few but not all brands twist well
Thanks i did a full explanation video of what hair to choose and how to go about that if you get a moment check it out 😊

can u start locs from these because my twists are long everywhere besides the front
Yes. Ppl have used these as starter locs and cut the extension off after time enough, for them.
I love it my hair can be like this for ever
☺️ thanks! Such a great style option
Girl you did that!!!
Thanks a lot! Appreciate you tuning in ❣️
Really nice!
Beautiful! Any suggestions on how to keep the natural hair from peeking through?
Mrs. Vick I've never experienced that problem. Following this method you shouldn't either. Thanks for watching
From my observation she did this on wet hair vs blow dried and this helps blend the hair with the braiding hair so it wont peek through.
Sharnell Grant hi dear i Definitely am working on damp hair in this video. However when i create this look either way (wet or dry) renders same end result. thanks for watching
This is beautiful! Can I start my loc this way?
People do that all the time. Hair is light weight even when wet. Palm roll every 6to8 weeks or longer.
I love ❤️ this video so so much
How many packs did u used
What’s the price to do this style 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey thanks so much for watching☺ 2 to 3 packs depending on yhe clients. All starting prices listed at www.suchanaturalbeauty.com
Beautiful!! How many inches was the hair you used? Did you use right over left or left over right to twist?.
Exactly how you see me grabbing and attaching the hair is what i do. No crossing over at all. The hair comes the length is the video.
Thanks so much for tuning in☺
I have always been in love with the kinky twist etc look but didn't get it until it played out ! Is this style coming back ? I would love to get it again and be up with current styles.
favtmofyr allsesns these are two strand twist extensions. A natural set of extensions to mimic twists done on loose hair. Kinky twist have a corkscrew curl at the bottom. These curl at the end on their own. Thanks for watching. Share with and of your diy friends
Such A Natural They're beautiful. I might try them in a short version. Thanks !
How many inches was her growth before adding the extensions? What’s the bare min length you would suggest for this hair style
Great question! The more loose the curl pattern the longer but kinky is ideal overall. So with kinky hair, 3 inches or longer, including hairline/edges 🌹
Beautiful!😊
Beautiful job!!! Did you split the hair to a shorter length or is this it's natural length?
Jessica Harris thanks, its the length the pack comes.
hi i want to try it my self can u please tell me what type of hair u used
Yearly Charles hi i used afro kinky bulk hair. I use various brands. Long as you go with afro kinky bulk hair (be sure to twist before purchasing, as the packs can be inconsistent) you'll get the desired effect.
Hi. I love the technique. What kind/brand of hair?
Laverne Armah hi. Afro kinky bulk is what i use. A variety of brands. Look for that texture and you're good to go. Make sure you twist in pack/at register before purchase to ensure it proper as packs have been inconsistent lately
Fantastic tutorial !
Appreciate you tuning in!
Beautiful well done
Beautiful!
Very nice thank you!
This looks gorgeous! I want to start twisting my own hair like this. What kind of extension hair did you use and where did you purchase it? Which do you recommend?
Thanks a lot! Afro kinky bulk is the texture you want to look for. I'm going to do a post on top picks and suggested brands. Lastly, i prefer to not direct you to a brand because i don't want you to experience any inconsistencies.
Thank you! I do understand why you don’t want anyone to quote you on specific brands, but I’ll be on the lookout for your preferred brand post. I guess my question was more so are you getting this hair online or finding it in your local beauty supply. Trying to avoid getting hair that’s too rough
@@jalessajones8480 totally understandable! I have a recent video on suggested/preferred brands on my channel called"the only hair you'll need..."
Purchase in person where possible 🌹
I’ve never heard of Afro kinky bulk, what brand is the hair? Also how much is it a pack
Zaria Wynn i use a variety of brands. Go with that texture this is the end result. 2to3 packs suggested. Thanks for watching
BEAUTIFUL JOB
I wonder if I can do this and let it loc after a while . This will be a good way to start a loc. Will it loc?
Perhaps you didn't listen with the sounds on lol. I touch on that in the video. Yes it would be a convenient way to start locs! You would be palm rolling your roots to start and maintain that process. The extension gets cut off after your roots that have grown out get to a length of comfort 🌹
Hi,
I found the noir hair I am trying to install these on myself. The banded pieces how many twist can you do with one? I am trying to make sure I am doing them the correct size please. Thinking 4 but not sure.
Hi, don't stress yourself out it's not that calculated you have to feel it out. Each bundle isn't the same fullness. You will pinch off some do a twist and either like it or dislike the size. Add or takeaway hair. Feel it out
@@SuchANatural Ok thank you! 😊
What if a vlient has alopecia towards the front like scarce hair in spme spots. How do u create the full look?
I personally would never add extensions to a situation like that, its just problematic.
A possible option could be making a wig.
That way every night her hair could be cared for underneath, by taking it off.
This is the style that I want my hair in.
My number is in the video, however you can call or text regarding booking, 313.948.8957
@@SuchANatural I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The area code 👀s like it’s from out of town?
If the client has relaxed hair could u still use that afro hair ?
Dazzling Jewel great question. Short answer is no. Hair would stick out and become very unruly.

@@SuchANatural Thank you so much, with you're help i also found Sekai natural hair. I'll try them out, however if i'm ever in your town I'm gonna make an appointment. thank you again peace
I love this style! I haven’t had it for a while but would love to wear it again, however, I don’t think I can do synthetic hair anymore. I had a allergic reaction a few months ago when a I tried faux locs. Does the price listed include the hair and what would the costs be for human kinky hair in this style? Thanks!
This hair appears to ve hypo allergenic from my own personal experience. This isnt tge same hair/texture as what's used for faux locs. Plus this can be washed and as light as air while wet. Faux locs a different story.
The listed price is not including hair. It's $275 hair included.
If you get human hair: it won't look like nor close to the finished results above, the hair is 35 a pack (vivica fox afro soul), 6 packs would be good. Itll be the listed price of 250 with you providing the hair☺
I dont think ive done your hair but whether you decide to go with me or not, thanks for tuning in☺
Such A Natural This would be my first service with you 😊 I had this style done years ago with human hair by a natural hair stylist on Livernois. Then I had Sisterlocks/microlocks for 6.5 years (my goal before the end of the year again). However, I’m an east-sider at ❤️ 😊 I miss living on Piper Blvd and driving thru The Pointes on Lakeshore Drive (picking out my houses) to get to Eastland Mall 😆 I’ve admired your work online for awhile and realized today that I really don’t ever want to flat iron/press my hair even a little bit ever again. My hair just goes “pouf”! 😆
@@mzcoconut6635 say that girl😂 looking forward
Hello 👋 , hope you're well. If ya don't mind I have a question: Are you twirling the strands as you twist them or just twisting as we usually do when twisting our real hair?? (I'm about to try these on my daughter. Fingers crossed. *oh I slowed the speed all the way down but for reason it's still hard for me to tell.
Hello I did try to explain this in the video. It's just twisted. From the braided portion to the ends
@@SuchANatural ok , thx 👍
Hello, thank you for the video. Is there a kinky human hair that you could recommend? I want to start my locs this way. I should also mention that I will likely need to color it because my hair is a reddish cinnamon
Sadly: 1) human hair twists don't have the same end result look. 2) if you want a colored hair buy that specific color, because even though they call that hair human kinky it never dies. That's from years of personal experience.
Gladly, you can start locs with this method/hair. Its light weight and can be washed/treated as your own. You'd just be palm rolling/retwisting the new growth.
Thanks for watching☺
Thank you so much for your reply, one more thing, can you show me the hair that you used so I can purchase it?
No problem. I did discuss that in the video. The texture youre looking for is called afro kinky bulk. I don't promote or suggest brands due to inconsistencies I've experienced with various brands. So, your best bet would be to twist the hair before buying it☺
What kind of kinky synthetic hair did you use? The hair seems way softer than your normal Marley type of hair. I’ve used a very soft natural kinky braiding hair for my kinky twist years ago but couldn’t find it since.
hi in the video i use afro kinky bulk for these two strand twist extensions. to get the finished look from this video thats what itd suggest. i use a variety of brands just be sure to twist before purchasing, some packs have been inconsistent. thanks for watching.
Such A Natural thank you for the advice and reply
Such A Natural hi Im also looking to find out what hair you use. this looks great. which brand is used?
Laura Best look above. Thanks for watching
Shantel Runai. Hi.. What does she mean by 'twisting before purchasing'..
Beautiful. Did you twist these with the rope twist method?
No i didnt actually and thanks ☺️
Is her hair wet while you are doing the twist? Great work
hey, yes it is damp. Thanks for checking us out
Hi, why did you do it on wet hair instead of blown out hair?
sashadc3 hi. Great question. Blown out hair is for things like box braids or when dealing with a silky texture extension. Since i want my clients extensions to seamlessly mesh with her own hair, no need to blow dry. Your query of blow drying may be based on concern of tangling or ease of style completion...her hair was well moisturized and finger detangled so this process was a breeze. Thanks so much for tuning in😊
Beautiful! What type of hair is used? I want this for my hair! What concerns should be expressed for the clients natural hair with this style?
Alesia Stanaly Hi i use afro kinky bulk hair, a variety of brands. Twist before purchasing ( mentioned in the description box )
Such A Natural What does that mean twist before purchasing?
@@trulyblessedby3 excellent question! I mean to avoid buying hair that doesn't twist properly, twist it in the beauty supply because I've had far too many cases of buying hair that is just bad, lol!
So, that's gonna save you some time and money.
🌹
@@SuchANatural thank you for clarifying.
