As a new trader you need to understand that the market is range bound. A 10-year-old can mark up charts inspired down Trends in uptrends but the ability to get in an accurately predict that the market will move up 11, 20,30 points or more take time .... always go with a 1 to 3:00 ratio when you're Trading. Equity management is fundamental. Until you have found a profitable trading strategy stick with the safe demo accounts because other than that is basically dangerous going in with your own money

Dr. Barry, how many candles can stay outside Bollinger Band from your experience before retracement into the band. I've counted about an average of 3.
There is no set number of candles. What I wait for is a shift of supply/demand (money flow) to time when price will go back into the band.
