I love that movie and I hate the bad press it gets just because it's liked by incels and the media initially said it was justifying terrorism. I love it because I can relate to Arthur's missery, hatred of what he has made of his live, and his obvious psicological issues being misunderstood (him by everyone he's surrounded by, me by my own mother). The "daydreaming about random situations you don't even know how you would get into just to satisfy your mind in the moment" thing, I did the night before I saw the damn film. I may be a woman, however, for a decent amount of time did I feel negative energy towards men because of my abusive dad and even step-dad !! Then I realised men are people too and they deserve to be treated with much respect and kindness. To this day, I'm glad I was able to see that and change my way because you fellas are really cool, but I'm still keeping up at working on myself as well xP
As a man, I often have moments where I'm not entirely sure men really are people, so I can't really blame you for how you felt before. I also grew up with abusive paternal figures and most of the men in my life were either neglectful or outright hostile, so I tend to have a harder time coming to trust other men than I do women. A lot of my male classmates were also very toxic and the way they talked about the girls behind their backs or lied to their faces in order to emotionally and sexually manipulate them was truly repulsive. Since then, I've also come across a lot of guys like that in-person or online and even my dad has gone down the "red-pilled" rabbit hole, so it's hard not to let that paint a bleak picture. But I also have a lot of male friends who are kind, compassionate, and respectful people, so I know it's not all bad out there. It's just hard not to get caught up on all the negatives.

Women are valued above men. Women want to do everything men do, expect when it's negative in that case men will be the only ones forced either by law or morally. Women want equality in the military, but when a war breaks they only call men for the draft because women need to take care of the family. Look at what's happening in ukraine.women want equality in job opportunities and education, but do not complain against schools excluding men from certain scholarships or companies giving less dirty jobs to women. On a personal level the same differences are everywhere. People are way more protective of them, parents protect their daughters more than their sons, boyfriends protect their girlfriends, male friends their female friends. Speaking from my personal experiences, if a woman is crying because she's nervous with a test people will be way more helpful than if a man is crying for the same reason. In the job market the needs of female employees are always put above the needs of male ones. The difference of how people talk and how they expect a woman to do a certain job in, for example, a production company ( the area that I work at) is night and day. The dirtier jobs are all done by men because women cannot "break" their new fake nails. This is what I have been experiencing since I was a kid until now. From middle school, to university and finally in the job market. The differences in treatment are consistent. And it's a pretty obvious conclusion to make. 5 men dying is judged by society as better than 5 women dying. This value has always existed, but in the past men had more power. Now the difference in value is still the same but women have more and more power (in some situation, more than men). And this all comes back to the original comment. Women being super sexist is normalized and accepted, even by the entities that claim to want equality. They always respond with "you are right" "that's funny" or " men where sexist for centuries so now it's our turn".

Honestly this was really good. I know you teased yourself about the end bit but I really liked it. When I was a teenager I had a lot of negative feelings towards women due to my abusive mother. The root problem is the idealization of women and relationships and the entitlement to it. When one has established himself by pursuing what is important in life, what is noble and true, then you will find fulfillment. Perhaps along this lifelong journey you can attract a partner whom you love that is likeminded, and though this relationship is good it should never consume you.

What someone finds attractive changes over time, is often related to their biology and life experience, and is a lot of the time the same as who they hang out with.
The general female population finds a lot of general things attractive. Ex: height, wealth, social status, looks, cockiness.
A lot of what makes someone attracted to someone else is usually out of your control. You can't control your genetic make up. A lot of women don't honestly care about the things you can control. Like how you treat others and what you think and know. It's all about genetics and resources unfortunately.
It's just how women are.
A lot of guys have it easy cause of the way that they look. It's genetics. Rich guys don't have women clawing at them. All they have is money. Usually rich guys attract gold diggers, ppl who only want their money.
What's hard is finding a genuine quality relationship. One where two people just love each other. When all you care about is looks and money, you don't look deeper at that person's character and what they mean to you.

This is great. Bros, I'm nearly 40 and it took me this long to realize that I'm just not compatible with a relationship/girlfriend. Incel is a rude term to describe a sexually starved person, usually a man. Until the 2010's there was no such term in the public conscious. To call a man an incel is like calling a black person a nígger. Both are statements of fact and descriptive but also express contempt for the recipient of said speech. People can deny this all they want of course but I have seen it enough times in my life. If you simply went by the word 'lonely man' and started saying asinine things about lonely men with a snide tone you would look like a really antisocial person but if you simply switch into using the term 'incel' you can get away with a lot. I really think that in some circles the term 'incel' is now used to poison discussion and to keep uncomfortable facts about gender from being heard. It works because of the peacock's tail theory where men will pretend to be sexually popular and even accept disparagement from women just to look good and improve their social status whereas the guys who talk about men's hardship can be slapped with the incel tag and silenced because the minority of men who are incels AND genuinely antisocial also raise the same points.

Incels are EXTREMELY negative but in their negativity they say a lot of things that will be denied on sight by people because of the "feel good do good improve" flowery mentality which is spammed ad nauseam on essentially every social media.
