We have a presentation on Saturday at Tuscany village. Not sure what to expect.
Hi @melissaan9199 it should be fine. We have attended two presentations and didn't feel pressured at all.
We just stayed at Tuscany last week we bought this same package we are planning to go to Hawaii it would be our second time there. But the first time doing a presentation. Is it easy to book your time when calling in booking the vip points ? Also we were planning to do a 3 and 4 split with enclave in Myrtle beach and Hawaii but it seems we would have a bunch of points left over so I’m thinking we will just use everything in Hawaii
It was very easy to book as long as you did it far in advance!! I wouldn't worry about the "point value" and just book what you want (as long as you have enough points).
I just got rid of my Tuscany Village timeshare. It took 7 months for someone who finally wanted it for $99 + closing. I own 3 timeshares, 1 with Hilton and 2 with Wyndham, so I like these programs when they're lucrative. Tuscany Village was our newbie mistake, falling for the $100 resale entry too. Gold season contracts are duds there, and FL costs are rising.
Hi @thejokerspeaks thanks for your perspective! We have never owned one and therefore aren't knowledgeable in them. I hope you were able to get your money out of it before you sold.
@@yolofamilytravels Yeah, we only owned it for 2 years, and were able to stay 4 nights in Waikiki, 4 nights in Utah Park City, and over a week in Vegas. It was the closing costs, and paying the reseller $1K to sell it again, that burned. As we got 2 Wyndham contracts, one even came with a surprise class action 2X points boost, it paled in comparison. At the same time we listed Tuscany Village, we bought an every-other-year platinum contract in Las Vegas, giving us just enough points to stay in Waikiki for about a week every odd year. We went from 20 cents per point in maintenance annually, to 12 cents EOY.
My mom just got an invite for today. They said they would give free 7 days at any resort and $150 gift card I'm going with her but well see how it goes
@aizenonfleek5590 that sounds amazing! Hard to turn down that deal!!
@@yolofamilytravels so update we did get a free 7 days and a gift card and the offer we got was 8000 points every year for $12,900 they let us put it on hold and gave us 11,500 points and we paid 1750 towards it which now makes it 11,150 so maybe we will consider it
@@yolofamilytravels 7 nights at first we thought it was to low but really it depends on what you choose but then we searched up the Hilton resort from the pamphlet to see how much it would cost without the points and it was like $8,000
@aizenonfleek5590 oh ok sounds like it could be a good offer. It probably depends on the yearly fees also but you could recoup your costs within a few years.
Can you share anymore brief context surrounding the housekeeping issue?
Hi! Thanks for checking out the video! It had to do with the bed linens. It was really bad in the moment, but it was completely rectified. I would stay there again, but not a timeshare I would want to purchase. Hope that helps!
